I was looking for a rental space in an upscale building when I heard about the Vanderbilt. Since we toured the building before opening, I remember wearing a hard hat and found it so exciting to be able to have my choice of apartments. One of my favorite things about the Vanderbilt is how beautiful the building is, how well it’s maintained, the phenomenal staff and location. There is nowhere else I would want to be. There are a number of amenity spaces that are available to enjoy. A wonderful on-site restaurant with bar and poolside service in the summer months. The people who live here are amazing. The people who work here are phenomenal. I’ve made so many friends. Everyone is so friendly and engaging and with similar stories of how they ended up at Vanderbilt, I have a tremendous social life here. I would recommend the Vanderbuilt to anybody who’s looking to live an elevated lifestyle as I have made new friends and have been able to join activity such as Canasta sip and paint and other resident events that are hosted at the property. The property is also conveniently located to the city where my kids live and near many upscale and delicious restaurants and shopping.

Guests and residents alike highlight the "beautiful building" and its "well-maintained" facilities. The surrounding area offers significant convenience, with easy access to a plethora of upscale and delicious restaurants and shopping destinations, including the renowned Roosevelt Field Mall, which is about a 12-minute walk away. This location makes it appealing for both leisure travelers looking to explore Long Island's retail and dining scene, and business travelers needing convenient access to corporate hubs. The presence of a concierge and a 24-hour front desk ensures that guest needs are addressed promptly. For those staying longer, the staff's ability to cultivate a sense of community, facilitating resident events like Canasta, sip and paint, and other social gatherings, is a standout service. This focus on fostering social connections among residents is a unique aspect that distinguishes The Vanderbilt from many traditional hotels. While the service is generally highly rated, it's worth noting that one review during the Christmas week mentioned disappointment regarding a pre-booked room being unavailable due to maintenance, highlighting that while the staff's intent is good, unforeseen operational issues can impact specific guest experiences. Bellhop service is also available, adding to the luxury feel.

The features of The Vanderbilt are comprehensive and cater to a discerning clientele seeking both comfort and convenience. The property offers various room types, including Luxury Studio Suites, Luxury Rooms, and Luxury Suites with king or queen beds, some with patios. The property also provides complimentary exterior parking and electric vehicle charging stations, addressing practical needs for modern travelers. For corporate needs, there are three meeting rooms and a business center.

Promotional information for The Vanderbilt would emphasize its dual nature as both a luxury hotel and an upscale residential community. Marketing would likely target individuals and families seeking an elevated living experience, as well as corporate travelers looking for extended stay options. Potential promotions could include special rates for longer stays, packages combining accommodation with dining credits at Juniper, or exclusive access to local events given its proximity to attractions like the Prudential Center (though travel distance might be a factor) and various cultural sites on Long Island. Given its "sophisticated and ideally located" positioning, The Vanderbilt might also offer incentives for corporate bookings or preferential rates for companies in the Corporate Drive vicinity. Pet-friendly policies are often highlighted, attracting travelers with companion animals. It's advisable for prospective guests to check the official website or contact the property directly for the latest promotional offers, seasonal packages, and details on any specific room availability or amenity access, especially during holiday periods, as one reviewer noted limited restaurant hours and non-appealing amenities during Christmas week.

In summary, The Vanderbilt Hotel Suites at 990 Corporate Dr, Westbury, NY, stands out in the "Hotels Near Of Me" category for its commitment to luxury, comprehensive amenities, and an exceptional staff known for fostering a strong community. While a previous guest experienced some disappointment regarding room availability and amenity access during a holiday, the overall sentiment points towards a highly desirable living and staying experience characterized by beautiful surroundings, excellent service, and a vibrant social atmosphere, making it a compelling choice for those seeking an elevated lifestyle in Westbury.

We recently stayed at the Vanderbilt during the week of Christmas, and while we had high hopes for our holiday getaway, our experience was somewhat mixed. Despite booking our stay six months in advance, we were disappointed to find out upon a couple of hours before check-in that the room we had specifically requested was unavailable due to maintenance issues. However, our family was determined to make the most of our time there. The hotel's location is undoubtedly its greatest asset, providing easy access to local attractions and the festive spirit of the season. Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant was closed for much of our stay due to the holiday. Additionally, we found that the other limited amenities offered by the hotel were not very appealing. While the cleanliness of our room could have been improved, we felt that the hotel does not offer much beyond its well-known name. We truly wished for the original room we booked and had expected a more festive atmosphere in line with the holiday season. Overall, while we managed to enjoy our family time together, our stay at the Vanderbilt did not quite meet our expectations.

I’m very sorry to be giving this hotel such a bad review but our first night arriving from Florida. We had no heat in our room without the air sounding like a motorcycle being in the room. I called the front desk when we got back from visiting family with a busy day coming up the next day and they told us there were no other rooms for us to go to. There were no portable heaters no extra blankets no Nothing so we slept in the cold all night. It was freezing the night we arrived on 23 December. They told me the next day when I told him I was going to leave a bad review they would have it fixed. They did not. I will leave a video showing the night before we left on the 25th, which was Christmas Like I said I can’t believe I’m having to leave this review. The hotel is pretty. The rooms are big. There is not a lot of space to place your things in the bathroom. Other than that it’s a good place. The restaurant was not open while I was there so can’t comment on that But a disappointment overall for me. By the way, I called the front desk on the 24th. They told me they would refund the entire stay. I have not received any refund at all. I would’ve preferred something different but at this point, I think it’s terrible how we were treated. I was in room 102 which is right near the door going outside on the first floor might not have been so cold on the third floor in the middle? EDIT: I spoke to the manager (Natasha) yesterday and told her what happened. I received a refund. At this time I WILL recommend this hotel and possibly stay there during my next trip to the area. This hotel made things right. Thank you!

The staff at The Vanderbilt are very professional and courteous. Natassia, Sherianne, Earl, and the rest of the staff were amazing throughout the whole weekend. We arranged a wedding block with Natassia and it was just a perfect experience. You can tell that this hotel has experience with Wedding Blocks because they just went above and beyond our expectations. The hotel rooms were clean, modern, and very spacious. They went out of there to make sure my wife and I had an amazing stay, our guests had an amazing stay, and without doubt, I would stay there again. Anyone with a wedding in the area and needing a hotel/wedding block should stay here 100%!

We had the opportunity to work with both the Vanderbilt and Selby recently for a catering event where our team provided breakfast services. We were thoroughly impressed by the professionalism and hospitality of the hotel manager, Natassia Spiegel and her entire staff. They were incredibly supportive and accommodating, making sure that we had everything we needed to execute our catering services smoothly. Their proactive communication and attention to detail contributed significantly to the success of our breakfast service. The collaborative effort with the hotel manager and her team made it clear that they prioritize excellence in customer service and hospitality. The positive feedback we received from our clients and guests further underscores the effectiveness of our partnership. I highly recommend the Vanderbilt and Selby not only for their accommodations but also for their collaborative approach to working with external vendors like us. Natassia and her team were a pleasure to work with, and their dedication to ensuring a successful event was evident throughout. I look forward to future opportunities to work together.
