This motel is close to the action and was priced right. Also the reserved parking space was nice. Room was clean. The current 4.5 rating is inflated though I’d probably put it in the high 3’s based on comparison. The room we had was literally on the street so if the sound of yahoos with mufflerless rides throughout the night isn’t your thing best request a room off the road. We are heavy sleepers so wasn’t an issue.

The combination of a friendly atmosphere, delicious food, and a convenient location makes the Wild Rose Hotel & Bar a standout choice for those who value authenticity over extravagance. It’s the kind of place where you can grab a cold Spotted Cow on tap, enjoy a meal with a view of the millpond, and feel like a true local, even if it's your first time in town.

Jul 03, 2024 · Scott G.Stopped here on a Friday, and had the perch with German potato salad. It was outstanding! Honestly, we had heard it was the best fish fry in Wild Rose, and we have to agree. And might even go as far as saying it's the best fish fry around. Spotted Cow is on tap. The staff is super friendly and attentive. And the place is clean with a great view of the millpond. Stop in for a cold brew, some tasty food, and make a new friend while enjoying a lovely view. I bet you won't be disappointed.
Mar 03, 2020 · Terri Dopp-PaukstatFood was excellent! Mike was the cook. I had the 'special' which was a Reuben and I had the curly fries, which was one of the many options! My friend had the Patty Melt with regular fries. Both entrees were wonderful! Food and Beverage pricing were very reasonable! Spencer was our bartender and he was such a people person! Loved his personality! So quick witted! My friend reminisced with Spencer about the now defunct snowmobile racing on the waterway which happened right outside the Wild Rose bar. All in all a fun visit and my first visit! Would definitely stop in again - especially to see Spencer! I would love to see the snowmobile racing on the water back again! Perhaps this idea can be revisited and started up again! My friend's reminiscing with Spencer about it sounds like it was a great time!
Apr 25, 2022 · Sonya JornsWe stopped here randomly on our way up to Michigan for dinner. Very friendly service. Nice people. Good food. Beautiful back porch overlooking Wild Rose Pond. It's a big pond. Nice spot. Will return.
