The experience from start to finish was great. I was informed before I got there about the WiFi and cable being down. That was not a problem for me and it was very good courtesy to inform me before arriving about it. Lee was very helpful and friendly checking me in late into the evening. The walls are thin so you can hear a lot of commotion, but this is a value hotel, not a luxury hotel, you get what you pay for!
When you're looking for a place to stay in Nashville for more than just a night or two, an extended stay hotel like WoodSpring Suites Nashville Airport can be a game-changer. Designed with longer visits in mind, these hotels offer a different kind of accommodation experience, focusing on comfort, convenience, and affordability for guests who need a home-away-from-home feel. Whether you're in Nashville for a temporary work assignment, relocating to the area, visiting family for an extended period, or simply exploring the city at a more relaxed pace, WoodSpring Suites provides features that go beyond a typical hotel room.
The concept of an extended stay is about more than just a bed; it’s about having the flexibility and amenities to live comfortably for weeks or even months. This means having practical in-room features that allow you to prepare your own meals, manage your laundry, and generally settle in without the constant feeling of being a transient traveler. WoodSpring Suites Nashville Airport aims to deliver this experience, providing a value-oriented option for those who need more than just a short-term solution.
It's worth noting that "value hotel" implies a focus on essential comforts and cost-effectiveness, rather than luxury. For many, this practical approach is exactly what's needed for an extended visit. Let's explore what makes WoodSpring Suites Nashville Airport a consideration for your longer-term accommodation needs in Tennessee.
The WoodSpring Suites Nashville Airport is conveniently situated at 515 Metroplex Dr, Nashville, TN 37211, USA. Its location is a significant advantage, particularly for travelers utilizing the Nashville International Airport (BNA).
Being just approximately 5 miles from BNA means easy and quick access for airport arrivals and departures, making it ideal for flight crews, business travelers, or anyone with frequent air travel plans. The hotel's proximity to I-24 also ensures excellent connectivity to major roadways, allowing guests to navigate the wider Nashville area with relative ease. This strategic positioning means you’re not far from the action but are located in a slightly quieter business district, away from the direct hustle and bustle of downtown Nashville.

This allows for convenient drives to attractions like the Ryman Auditorium, Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Broadway, and Nissan Stadium. The hotel's location also offers reasonable access to other Nashville points of interest, including major hospitals, universities, and commercial areas, making it a practical choice for various long-term purposes, such as medical visits, academic programs, or corporate projects.
For guests with vehicles, the hotel provides free self-parking, which is a valuable amenity for extended stays, especially in a city like Nashville where parking can sometimes be a challenge. The accessibility to major interstates also makes day trips to other parts of Tennessee or neighboring states quite manageable, adding to the hotel's appeal for those looking to explore the wider region at their own pace.

For locals in Tennessee, the WoodSpring Suites Nashville Airport offers a compelling solution for a variety of extended stay needs right here in their home state. There are many reasons why a resident might need an accommodation like this, and this hotel is well-suited to address them.
Perhaps you're undertaking home renovations and need a temporary place to live, or you're involved in a long-term work project in the Nashville area that requires you to stay close by for several weeks. Maybe you have family visiting from out of state for an extended period, and your home simply doesn't have enough space. In these scenarios, the WoodSpring Suites Nashville Airport becomes an incredibly practical choice.
The in-room kitchens are a major benefit for Tennessee locals, allowing for home-cooked meals and avoiding the expense and routine of dining out every day. This can lead to significant cost savings, especially when factoring in weekly or monthly rates that are designed to be more affordable than nightly bookings. The on-site laundry facilities also mean you don't have to leave the premises for basic needs, adding to the convenience of a long-term stay. Plus, for those with furry family members, the pet-friendly policy, while having associated fees, provides a crucial option that many traditional hotels don't offer.
While some guests note it as a "value hotel" where you "get what you pay for" and mention potential for noise due to thin walls or occasional amenity outages (like Wi-Fi or water, as per one review), it's important to frame this within the context of its purpose: an affordable, functional extended stay. For locals prioritizing a kitchen, laundry access, and a cost-effective weekly or monthly rate over luxury amenities, WoodSpring Suites Nashville Airport fits the bill perfectly. It’s a pragmatic choice for a temporary home in the heart of Tennessee, offering the essential comforts needed to settle in for a while.

Apr 25, 2025 · Wes DownsWell it costs about 560 a week, and for that price you would think that it would be a nice place. Well for starters when I checked in and paid I was charged 560, the very next day they said I still owed. Owed for what you might ask? A pet fee that was already paid. But no they have so.e other hidden fee that's due the next morning. Fine! I paid an additional 50 on top of the 40 for the weekly pet fee. After the week was up, I extended for one more day to give some wiggle room in between paychecks. Was charged 50 dollars and some change to add an additional night. The next day when I went to pay for another week, I was told that I was not charged the full amount, and that I owed 40 more for the single night. This is after signing the recipient. Fine I don't like confrontation so I paid it. We'll here's the kicker. A pipe busted, flooded the entire first floor and left the hotel with no water. 4 days later there is still no water. I can't even flush the toilet. When I asked if there was going to be any type of discount, I was laughed at and told no. So 560 a week, with all kinds of hidden fees, and no water. This place is run by slum lords. And on top of all that. They tried to charge me 10$ for a roll of single ply toilet paper. The internet has also been down due to the water madding up the electrical room. So no internet, no tv. For the past 5 days.
Mar 27, 2025 · Khidr HamediVery rough hotel. Smells horrible. Not clean. Pillows are as flat as a sheet. Had to move rooms due to neighbors smoking in the bathroom. Do not recommend.
Jun 18, 2025 · Jamie LargentCouldn’t even stay 5 minutes. Booked the hotel well in advance, got here no wifi, no ac, no cable, the rooms did not look like the pictures, and the rooms reeked of smoke and were very humid. The front desk was nice and all but the hotel manager has to do better. You should seriously stop allowing people to check in while your hotel is in this state with no prior communication. It’s definitely cheap for a reason. BEWARE!
Jun 07, 2025 · Taylor JacksonWe accidentally got put into a room that was not ready for us. The woman working the front desk was so kind and apologetic! She fixed everything in less than a few minutes. She even took the time to walk me back upstairs to the new room to make sure it was clean and ready! I wish I would have gotten her name!! The room smelled great! It was very clean and spacious, too. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels so I usually bring my own toiletries and things but there were small bottles of 3in1, lotions, dish soap, and things like that. Bed was a place to sleep. This was a last minute book for us but I would stay again for the cleanliness and service alone!
