Not worth the money – below Wyndham standards While the front desk staff was very polite and helpful, the overall stay did not meet expectations. Upon checking in, we found that our room did not have any bath or hand soap. When I asked at the front desk, the staff member apologized and said they were out of bath soap, then handed me a few hand soaps and asked us to manage with that. The room itself felt half-renovated and lacked sufficient lighting at night. It didn’t feel fully updated. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet, which made for a decent night’s sleep. However, the TV was not a smart TV, and there was no microwave in the room. While it might not have been listed in the amenities, I believe many travelers assume these basics will be there. Overall, the experience didn’t live up to Wyndham’s usual standards and didn’t feel worth the price.

Key amenities and services include:
The key feature of Wyndham Garden Pittsburgh Airport is its strong focus on providing convenient access to the airport with its complimentary shuttle service. This amenity is invaluable for many travelers. The hotel's commitment to being pet-friendly is another noteworthy aspect for guests traveling with their furry companions. The recent renovation (completed October 2024) indicates an ongoing effort to update and improve the guest experience, aiming to meet modern expectations for comfort and functionality. The presence of a 24-hour fitness center and a seasonal outdoor pool offers recreational opportunities for guests during their stay. The hotel also features a fireplace in the lobby, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.
However, it is also important to address specific feedback from guests. Some reviews highlight that certain amenities, such as a microwave in the room or smart TV features, might not be universally available, which could be a surprise to some travelers who consider these standard. Consistency in the quality of the complimentary breakfast has also been a point of contention, with some guests finding it less substantial than expected. Occasional maintenance issues, such as a lack of bath soap or non-functional ice machines, have been reported, suggesting that while efforts are being made, the execution of guest services can sometimes fall short of brand standards. The "remote" location, while beneficial for airport access, means guests might need to plan for transportation if they wish to explore beyond the immediate vicinity.
As part of the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts family, the Wyndham Garden Pittsburgh Airport often participates in the Wyndham Rewards loyalty program. Guests can earn and redeem points for their stays, potentially leading to free nights or other benefits. The hotel frequently offers various promotions, including:
It's always recommended to check the official Wyndham Garden website or reputable online travel agencies for the most current promotional offers and pricing, as these can vary based on demand, season, and booking lead time. Typical room prices have been observed from around USD 96.98, though this is subject to change. Fees for extended parking (around $5 per day) and potential early check-in/late check-out (around $25) should be noted. A damage deposit of USD 50.00 may also be collected before check-in.

May 20, 2025 · Kruti GuptaDecent for a Basic Stay, but Don’t Expect Much This hotel is in a remote location, but it’s a decent option if you’re just looking for a simple stay. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly, which is a plus. However, the advertised “included breakfast” is quite disappointing—it’s basically just bread, with empty bowls and no real options. The pool isn’t open yet and doesn’t look very appealing, and although they mention having games and other amenities, everything seems to be closed with no information on when they’ll be available. Overall, it’s okay for a quick stopover, but keep your expectations low.
May 18, 2025 · Nagabandi Dheeraj KumarVery clean and quiet hotel. My family and I were very impressed how clean and nice it was for the rate and being a pet friendly hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only “complaint” we had was the “full brreakfast” didn’t have much to offer and the juices in the machine were not very good however bc of the location of the hotel, many breakfast options close by. Also a few of the built in charging outlets did not work . Otherwise, I was very happy with my decision to stay here.
Mar 23, 2025 · emily mattinglyVery nice hotel tucked away in an industrial park. My partner and I did not spend too much time in the hotel. However, the time we spent there was nice. The continental breakfast was just toast, bagels, juice, yogurt, basic stuff. I think the hotel may still be undergoing renovations as there were a few large dumpsters outside. Room was very nice. Sink dripped, and our room was never cleaned during the four days we were there. No do not disturb sign in room (probably could have requested one). Extra toilet paper was given to us upon request. Overall a very nice stay. Bed was clean upon arrival no bugs or stains. Fairly close to Pittsburgh and lots of fun things to do in the area nearby.
Mar 15, 2025 · Bryan SmearsollThe establishment was a disappointment. No amenities. I was told because they were short staffed and indeed they were. The restaurant was closed. The complimentary breakfast was just cereal and limited bread options and muffins, juice and yogurt. We asked for two blankets because we got a double bed. I was told they only had one and that blanket was torn and ripped up. I was also told that this was on the website in regards to the restaurant being closed but it wasn't. Waste of money. Will not ever return
