Glad able to accommodate "service dogs" when they are covered under the American Disability Act; when I booked a room that slept 3... nope I had to ask for a roll away bed. When I looked for continental breakfast; there is none and they can give us places within a 15 minute drive. (Picked this palce because of what they offered) and so they literally gave us the wrong room, didn't provide what was said, and the pool was absolutely disgusting. Definitely not what it looked like.... and the water in the pool made my kids puke.

Wyndham at Southbury was a real disappointment. The lobby was beautiful, but unfortunately was not a reflection for the rest of the hotel. The rooms were worn and needed updating. Everything about it felt old, but worse than that, of the 3 rooms that we had taken for my niece’s graduation, all of them had problems. There was no closet door knob in one, dirty lampshades and mold in the bathroom in another. The third needed a real refresh. The rooms may have been clean, but they felt dirty nonetheless. The pool area was shockingly bad. While the indoor pool water was blue and heated, there was a big red stain on the ceiling that looked like a crime scene. How could the hotel not have replaced the pool ceiling at the very least?! The pool, much like the rooms, looked old and needed care. The paint was chipping, and the pool chairs and what few cushions remained needed to be replaced. It was shockingly bad. The gym in the basement was nice to have, but in order to log into the wifi you had to stand in one spot in the corner of the room. When I go away I want a room where I can relax, in this case I wanted to relax with my family. All of us felt the same way. We would not stay there again nor recommend it unless there were major renovations.

Nice room. Very clean and modern. Public area sparkles. Coffee in the room worked well but rather dull. Coffee powder only. Complimentary coffee in the lobby had 1/2&1/2. Full charge restaurant for breakfast option. Very ample parking with electric charger.

The pool was disgusting. After I got in and was swimming, I noticed that there was a ring of black scum, 2 inches tall at the top of the water all the way around the pool. The breakfast is not available on Monday's or Tuesday's. What, nobody eats breakfast on those days??? Also, it's a pay for breakfast situation. Nothing complimentary here. For the price of breakfast, you'd think the quality would be much better. There is laundry on site but only one washer and one dryer. It's a pretty big hotel to only have one of each. The rooms were just okay. Sort of cheaply done. The beds were again just okay. I wouldn't go here again if I had a choice. The food in the restaurant was the best thing about the place. If you like port chops, I'd suggest getting that over the steak. The wings were good as well.

Whirlpool suite was bigger than expected. The furniture and bed were very comfortable. The temperature settings quickly cooled the room. The entire facility was clean and welcoming. Staff were pleasant and available.
