I was staying here and also having a small conference. From check in to Ashley and the event staff, everything was great. My room was modern, with lots of outlets, and it had a great shower (no bathtub, thank goodness). I like it cold in the room when I sleep, and the HVAC worked well. I also had dinner at the restaurant on the 9th floor and the food was delicious. There were 3 of us and we shared some small plates, including the marinated olives, sliced steak, seared tuna and patatas bravas. The location is great, an easy walk to many restaurants, bars and shops. The top floor also had an outdoor patio section with fire pits. It’s a cool space.

Mar 21, 2025 · Alan Berg, CSPThis is a very nice hotel, the rooms are very comfortable, the rooftop bar is fantastic , and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. 5 stars all around for the particulars. However, the signature scent being pumped into the lobby - an assault on your senses. Way, way too much, too powerful, too obnoxious. A noticeable slight on an otherwise lovely stay.
May 21, 2025 · EricaWow, what a fantastic hotel in an incredible location with wonderful staff! I have to commend Nick, who was at the front desk the evening I checked in. He was extremely welcoming, friendly, accommodating, and informative. The hotel is right in the center of everything in downtown Asheville, which is perfect for walking around; if you’re a light sleeper like me, I’d recommend bringing ear plugs for the night time. The rooms were very attractive, modern, and clean, and the other staff that I ran into/spoke with were very friendly and kind. On top of all that, the parking garage located in the hotel was ideal. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone!!!
Mar 23, 2025 · Elise MolleurThe room was immaculate both clean and spacious. The view was lovely from the 7th floor. The staff was very friendly and sweet. The location is central to everything downtown Asheville. Perfect walking distance to everything. Stick with tried and true drinks at the rooftop bar. The menu drinks were not that great.
May 23, 2025 · Lisa RigsbeeMy mom and I stayed here for 3 nights to explore Asheville, a place we’ve always wanted to see. Not only was the hotel in an ideal location and clean as a whistle, but it had the kindest, most sincere employees. We need to give Nick at the front desk a shoutout. Marriott is lucky to have such a great worker, representative, and person working for them!! All of the staff was great, though, and really made us feel at home. We will certainly be coming back!!
