I had an amazing stay at the Flat Iron Hotel in April 2025 and I couldn't recommend it enough. I stayed in the Adventurer (smaller room), which was super comfortable and well appointed. There's a beautiful art deco design throughout, But above it all the amazing staff there morning, noon, and night who are so friendly and knowledgeable. If I could give 10 stars to the staff I would. I was there for a mid week solo vacation for my birthday and I was treated to a welcome drink as well as some goodies sent to my room. Be sure to check out the rooftop lounge.Thank you for an amazing stay and I cannot wait to return!

May 08, 2025 · Katherine AlbinExcellent time staying at the Flat Iron. All the staff were very friendly and went above and beyond, from offering us free band-aids to providing a free post card to mail out, and more. Hotel is unique and filled with character but also clean, spacious and functional also. Roof-top bar has an excellent view of the city and the mountains. The bed was super comfy and the shower was awesome. Location is PERFECT for walking in Asheville - We easily parked at Wall Street garage and walked everywhere straight from the hotel. Easy walk to tons of restaurants, shopping, galleries and a historic movie theater. I think the drive to the Biltmore entry gate was 9 minutes away, everything else was walkable. This visit was AFTER the historic flooding and we didn't see any damage or anything negative at all in the area near this hotel. Just good ol' music-filled Asheville with the same good restaurants and breweries we've come to love. The locals were super friendly and very welcoming of visitors. Really enjoyed our time, would love to come back!
Mar 24, 2025 · Carley SmithBeing long time Airbnb travelers, we decided to try Flat Iron Hotel for a different pace. It renewed our faith in the ability of a hotel to provide a unique experience. It is a beautiful hotel that transports you back to the roaring twenties with modern amenities. However, it is truly the staff that made it a standout experience. The city of Asheville and the Flat Iron Hotel are the most friendly and welcoming places we have been in a long time.
Apr 06, 2025 · Karen OExcellent experience all around—loved all the details that really married the 1920s art deco and mid century modern touches. The space of the room was novel but so well utilized. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We cannot wait to come back and visit the Red Ribbon Society and hang out more on the rooftop. The beverage station on each floor was wonderful—sparkling water on tap? Yes, please! To hear the buskers by the Flatiron statue in the evening was beautiful. 10/10 vibes. We will be back!
Mar 14, 2025 · Caley RogersThis was the second time we stayed here. The service was outstanding both times, all of the staff is kind, accommodating and thoughtful. They went an extra step, it was my birthday and they left a special gift in our room. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected touch! The rooms are well done, very comfortable and the bed and linens are lovely. The location is great, you can walk to almost anything downtown. Overall great place to stay clean comfortable rooms, many choices to eat and drink in the hotel or surrounding area, kind staff, highly recommend!
