Great location, close to everything downtown and the price is cheap for downtown. The beds were extremely comfortable. However, it is really loud outside at night and the entire hotel is kind of old and run down. If you check in at night, you need to go to an outside window. So if your looking for a great location, this is your place. If you want up to date or luxury accommodations, keep looking.

Jun 08, 2025 · Lisa CarlsonThis is not a three star hotel. Plenty of examples of “deferred maintenance”. Light fixtures filled with bugs, missing lock cylinders, many examples of a run down hotel. Building was built in early 1960’s and still looks like it! Needs a severe update. Location is superb, but please, don’t be fooled by the photos.
Mar 06, 2025 · LocoJohn66!The room was terrible!!! It was a handicap room without any bars near the very low toilet. The place is VERY run down and the "manager" was super rigid and not helpful about letting my disabled niece and 77 year old sister have access to the room before 4pm even though the rooms had already been cleaned (not very well). This place is a dump in every sense of the word!! OMG
May 01, 2025 · Robert DargelSheets were disgusting and covered in hair. The whole hotel was extremely outdated, literally feels like there hasn't been a single upgrade in a decade, and there was no housekeeping. The parking lot is tiny and there's barely any space to put your car in. The only thing good is the location. Body felt super itchy after sleeping, and they had some construction going on in the mornings at 8 AM.
Dec 28, 2024 · Chinmay KaranjkarPerfect location. Booked because of the free parking (in a mostly enclosed area, which was nice. Entry is on the east side off Ashland ave.) and the nice centrality for hitting a bunch of good food and breweries. The room was clean, bed was just okay. We've had worse, but it wasn't very comfortable. They also don't use fitted sheets, it was a flat sheet that wasn't large enough to properly cover the king bed. Through the night it would always end up bunched up and I didn't like losing that barrier from the mattress and constantly having to re-tuck it. But if we come back to Asheville this is probably where we'd stay again.
