My fiance and I have stayed here twice now and we absolutely love it. It's affordable and has everything you need. It's within walking distance to everything downtown but not the same as being right in the thick of it if you wanted to be a little closer. They have an affordable buffet bfast, a bar, a great snack/drink option. The staff has always been incredibly friendly. Clean, comfortable, quiet rooms. We have not used the pool/gym but we have been to the rooftop restaurant which is lovely. Really no complaints, would highly recommend!

Apr 01, 2025 · Gwen CarverGreat location close to restaurants/breweries. Rooms are spacious and clean. 2 things we didn’t like that feel like a money grab: paid parking (there is plenty of free parking within a minute walk), paid breakfast ($18 + $6 for kids, but gold/diamond get $15 credit).
May 24, 2025 · ZelUpdated, clean, and quiet. It is ab 15 min walk to most of the places we wanted to go to. Rooms were very clean, large, and comfortable. The lobby is updated and staff is helpful.
Jun 07, 2025 · Caroline Magyarour family of 5 stayed here and walked to the concert and it was very clean. they had passed out gluten free cookies with clean ingredients which was a treat for our kids with food issues. They have never been able to accept food gifts before so they were glad to be included. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a shelter across the street but no problems with people hanging around that aren’t guests. they have security that seems very helpful and happy with their jobs. we’ll definitely come back when visiting this area.
Apr 12, 2025 · Marcilia TalleyI stayed at the Double Tree for just one night while in town for a gymnastics competition. I chose this hotel because I got a great rate through the event that included breakfast. When I travel back to Asheville, I would gladly pay the regular price to stay here. The location is great. We walked to the convention center, restaurants, and even all the way south to Burial Brewery. The hotel staff was very friendly. I did the online check-in with mobile key entry. I later stopped by the front desk with a question, and the staff was very helpful and made sure to give us our complimentary waters and cookies (I didn't know that was a thing). We stayed on a high floor with a view of the City. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a good buffet breakfast with scrambled eggs, meat, oatmeal, fruit, cereal, and yogurt. We also ate dinner at the hotel restaurant. The food and drinks were very good.
