Room was dirty and musty smelling. Very over priced and dirty. The front desk staff if you want to call them that are never in the office. Or when she is she is sleeping on the couch in the lobby. Very unprofessional and rude. The only good review on here is from the property manager Tina. Black mold all over the bathroom. Totally disgusting and should be condemned. Would not recommend staying here. Run!

Based on information available online, Aderi Hotel Bucknell University advertises a range of services and features designed to cater to various guest needs. Standard room amenities typically include air conditioning, private bathrooms with shower/tub combinations, eco-friendly toiletries, hair dryers, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Many rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs with cable channels, coffee/tea makers, microwaves, and refrigerators, offering a degree of convenience for guests. Premium bedding and blackout drapes are also mentioned, aiming to enhance sleep quality. The customer reviews provided present a stark contrast to the advertised features and paint a concerning picture of the actual guest experience at Aderi Hotel Bucknell University. Both reviews strongly advise against staying at the hotel. Recurring themes of dissatisfaction include poor cleanliness, unprofessional staff, and issues with room functionality. Specifically, one reviewer states the "room was dirty and musty smelling," and that there was "black mold all over the bathroom." The same reviewer describes the front desk staff as "never in the office" or "sleeping on the couch in the lobby," characterizing them as "very unprofessional and rude." This reviewer also claims that a manager, Tina, is responsible for the "only good review" and that she "told us to clean the black mold ourselves."
The second review corroborates these severe issues, explicitly stating, "DONT STAY HERE." It reiterates the presence of "black mold all over the bathroom," mentions the "shower barely worked," and notes "stains on the mattress." Furthermore, the "mirror light didn’t even work," and the staff was "never in the office." This reviewer also calls out an individual named Joe McCracker as "so disrespectful" and reinforces the claim that Tina instructed guests to "clean the black mold ourselves."
These reviews directly contradict the hotel's advertised commitment to cleanliness, professional service, and guest safety (e.g., "Property is cleaned with disinfectant," "Property confirms they are implementing guest safety measures," "Property uses a professional cleaning service"). The reported issues with black mold, lack of functioning amenities, and disrespectful staff behavior are critical concerns that would significantly impact a guest's comfort, health, and overall satisfaction.
While the hotel's official and third-party booking sites may promote amenities like free Wi-Fi, convenient location, and a 24-hour front desk, the value proposition is severely undermined by the pervasive negative customer feedback regarding fundamental aspects of a hotel stay: cleanliness, maintenance, and staff conduct. The reviews suggest that the hotel is "very over priced and dirty," implying that even if the listed prices appear competitive, the actual experience does not justify the cost. Promotional language typically emphasizes comfort, convenience, and a pleasant stay; however, the real customer experiences detailed here indicate a significant disconnect. For a hotel, positive word-of-mouth and genuine guest satisfaction are the most effective forms of promotion. In this case, the highly negative reviews serve as a stark warning to potential guests, strongly deterring them from choosing this establishment. The hotel's apparent issues with basic hygiene and guest service would make any promotional efforts focused on value or comfort highly questionable in practice.
For local users in Lewisburg, PA, exploring the "Hotels Near Of Me" category, Aderi Hotel Bucknell University, located at 313 N Derr Dr, Lewisburg, PA 17837, USA, and reachable at (570) 523-1171, presents a complex picture. While its location near Bucknell University and various local attractions is a potential advantage, the provided customer reviews raise extremely serious concerns about the hotel's cleanliness, maintenance, and staff professionalism. Direct accounts of "dirty and musty smelling" rooms, "black mold all over the bathroom," stained mattresses, non-functional amenities, and consistently absent, unprofessional, and rude staff members are highly alarming. These issues suggest that the hotel may not meet even basic standards of hygiene and guest service. Given the severity and consistency of these negative experiences, prospective guests are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution or consider alternative accommodations in the Lewisburg area to ensure a comfortable, clean, and safe stay. The objective evidence from customer reviews indicates that, despite any advertised features, the real-world experience at Aderi Hotel Bucknell University may be significantly below acceptable standards.

Apr 16, 2025 · elias hernandezCan't say enough good things. We were a day late checking in. The manager had, without me knowing, waited extra time in the office for me to arrive. I apologized for her inconvenience. Nonetheless, she was fantastic! Gave me the keycard, I signed for the room, and off we went. The room was spotless, spacious, huge king bed, just a great experience all the way around. I would highly recommend this hotel. One of the best things, the price beat all the local competition! No regrets at all for my wife and I.
Nov 02, 2023 · Always TrumperThis is a nice Hotel to stay at. The room are nice clean. the workers are very warm & welcoming to you the moment you wake in to the end of your stay. Mar 27, 2024 · Tina McCrackenThe bad reviews are not taking into account that this hotel is half the price of the others in the area. It’s a great value for what you pay. Clean rooms and even some unexpected amenities. The lack of a real front desk staff and fuzzy TVs is frustrating but not a deal breaker.
