Stayed for one night in a king bedroom and had no issues! Very modern and standard room. Clean and had lots of amenities like a mini fridge, automatic blinds, prefilled shampoo and body gel, etc. I wanted to note that I left my toiletry bag in the bathroom after I checked out and realized when I already left the city. I contacted them via phone and Marriott app regarding the issue and what are resolutions for me getting my bag back. Angel was assisting me and was beyond helpful! He explained the options they offered to help me, and the manager ended up sending my bag back via USPS!! Thank you so much for being kind, having patience, and allowing me to get my stuff back in a timely manner! I hope Angel gets recognized for his exceptional services as an Aloft employee. I will definitely stay at this Aloft location again and recommend to others, not only for their rooms, but also for their staff’s agility.

Jul 26, 2025 · Brandy HKHotel room was nice, though dust had obviously accumulated in areas of the room and hair from previous guests was a common find in the bathroom. The bathroom doors in the rooms are sliding barn doors that do not lock and have an approximately 2 inch gap open to the room. This means that there is no privacy within the room, and that you can quite literally hear everything going on in the restroom. You will hear the sound of any potential roommates using the toilet as if the door was left completely open. This may obviously lead to some awkward situations. Sound proofing is additionally not particularly good, as you can rather seamlessly hear activities going on in other hotel rooms and any sounds occurring in the hallways. The hotel is also situated on a major road, so traffic noises being heard within the rooms is common. The hotel does not offer a free breakfast, however this is clearly outlined on Marriott's website that this brand within their portfolio does not offer a complimentary breakfast option. Complimentary coffee and tea, however, are provided. I observed some guests getting upset at the staff for there not being a complimentary breakfast. Please do not do this, it is unfair to blame the hotel staff for your ignorance regarding the service you have purchased.

Otherwise great- Comfortable, stylish hotel with a small indoor pool. Outdoor patio with fire and bean bag toss. Restaurant and bar. Breakfast to go for purchase with reasonable prices.

I originally stayed from July 12-14 and decided to return after a positive first experience. However, my second stay on July 14 was marred by several issues. First, there was a booking error where I was mistakenly booked for two rooms on the same night, even though I only stayed in one. While I didn’t complain at the time, I was later shocked to find that I was being charged for the additional room I never used. I was explicitly told during the booking process that this extra reservation would be canceled, but it was not, which is highly concerning and unfair. Additionally, during my stay, I encountered an issue with the air conditioning system, which could not be turned off. The staff offered blankets as a temporary solution, but this did not resolve the discomfort, and it felt like a lack of proper maintenance and care. What was most frustrating is the billing mistake and the lack of clear communication. It’s disappointing to experience such oversights from a hotel that I initially trusted. I feel disappointed that I was charged for a room I didn’t stay in and that my concerns about the billing were not addressed promptly. Overall, this experience has left me hesitant to return. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves their communication and service standards. I would caution future guests to double-check their bills and reservations.

The breakfast is confusing to order and the taste is not good. Mediocre food at best. First evening front manager was extremely nice. The second guy in the morning was not happy to be there. Not sure name. Beard and woven hat. Still a nice place.
