DO NOT STAY HERE!!! they have bed bugs and literally don’t care. My husband and I and our 2 year old daughter paid for a room that we couldn’t even sleep in because there was bed bugs everywhere. This is only pictures of 2 out of the almost 20 bugs I killed. Do not mistake these as cockroaches they are not! Told them at the front desk and they did not care did not want to do a refund even though the room was useless. Had to sleep in my truck with my 2 year old is ridiculous. Not to mention all the people up loud all night long. Place isn’t very nice or clean. Sink and bathtub was missing a plug to plug in the water. Bedding had black dots all over it from bed bugs.

BEWARE!!! Photos on online are deceiving. Looks nice in photos and you get there and it is a dump. We had to get our room changed twice due to the first and second rooms deadbolts not working. Also, the chains were ripped off the doors. When we got to our final room the door was VERY difficult to open and took multiple tries to get in. Got in and got settled and the tv doesn’t work! Picked up room phone to call front desk to get help and the phone had no wall cord or phone cord attachment, so I called from my cell and I called 7 times and never got an answer. Beyond irritated. We saw several roaches and the towels and sheets were thin and scratchy. Rooms have no sound proofing and you could hear everyone outside room. We got it for a bargain price at $50 a night and would not recommend AT ALL!!

My room didn't have a lock for the door - no deadbolt or safety lock - just a screw were a lock used to be. The keycard reader had batteries hanging off the back of the door. The smoke detector had been completely removed and bare wiring was left to hang. When I contacted the front desk about this, as they were moving me to a different room, I was told "Oh ya, that's pretty standard". The second room had a lock...sort of...and the smoke detector had a trash bag wrapped around it and taped up.

So if you’re looking for a cheap place to stay that’s not all that clean, this is the place for you. Rooms were not very clean, but I could walk to a lot of places from here. Also they probably could’ve thrown out the used soap in the shower and do a better job cleaning the floor. I seen a lot of reviews about it, but there were no bed bugs in my room. I did see one bug that might have been a cockroach but I smashed it pretty good before being able to tell. So this is not the best place to stay that’s for sure, but it was so cheap I got to spend my time doing things away from it all day!

I had to put a star just so that I could post this!! It is a 0.0 rating for this family!!! DO NOT stay at Americana Inn in Pigeon Forge TN!! We had reservation to stay 2 nights there on May 15,16. A man standing beside the desk told me that he worked there and asked me what my room number was. He proceeded to tell me where I could park and see my room. He even walked me and my son out the door and kept talking to us. He was drunk and he scared me and my son. My husband was waiting at the car! We walked up to our room walked in and my son seen a bug crawling up the refrigerator. He asked what kind of bug is that!! His dad said that is a baby cockroach! We pulled the refrigerator out and there was a nest of them!!! They were little and big ones!!! So we got our stuff and went back to the front desk and the guy said did you need to check in? And my husband said NO we are checking out! There are cockroaches in the room! The guy nonchalantly said “Oh I am sorry to hear that.” Like it was nothing and he didn’t even seem surprised about what we just said!! The air conditioning didn’t work, the light switch had no cover, and the door lock had no cover on it. There were just bare batteries showing. And as soon as you walked in the room you could smell how nasty and dirty it was!! The pictures that are on the website are from a long time ago when it was clean and looked nice. All around the place was nasty, filthy and the grass had not even been mowed! We were told from another hotel that they were trying to sell it and they guessed they gave up on it!!
