To the owners- You MUST close this dump and renovate it before I call the hotel motel association to check this nasty business operation. After reading all the other reviews now I know that you have been running a racket for long. If there is an option to rate it below one star I'll do it. The hotel apparently was under renovation, although I didn't see any signs of workmen or ladders or paint- you know the usual stuff. The reception area was stinking of weed and smoke. I had two rooms booked and went up to the worst motel room in my life. I expected to be in a lousy place (being that it was at my sons graduation) and all hotel rooms were booked around Syracuse. Paid nearly two hundred per night per room. The rooms were smoky smelling. Bed covers had cigarette holes and stains I don't want to describe here. No extra pillow or blanket in the entire hotel, the receptionist said it was fully booked. Even prisoners get bigger soap bars . One measly shampoo and no plastic cups to rinse mouth. No hair dyer and no me returning there ever. Buyer beware. The springs of the bed were destroyed over ten years ago. You need to have a stern back to endure the night. I was happy to be up and dressed by 5 am.
For travelers seeking accommodations in the East Syracuse, NY area, often under the "Hotels Near Of Me" search category, Americas Best Value Inn East Syracuse is located at 6608 Old Collamer Rd, East Syracuse, NY 13057, USA. The hotel can be reached via phone at (315) 437-3500 or mobile at +1 315-437-3500. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the hotel based on information available online, including common guest experiences.
The environment at Americas Best Value Inn East Syracuse, as indicated by various guest reviews, often presents a mixed picture. Some recent accounts suggest that the hotel may be undergoing or in need of significant renovation, with guests noting a lack of visible construction work despite claims of it being "under renovation." The reception area has been described as having a pervasive "stinking of weed and smoke" odor, which can significantly impact a guest's first impression. Room conditions have also been a point of concern, with descriptions of "smoky smelling" rooms, "cigarette holes and stains" on bed covers, and generally worn furniture, including beds with "destroyed" springs. These observations suggest that the current state of the property's environment may not consistently meet standard cleanliness and comfort expectations. Guests have noted issues with basic amenities within the rooms, such as the absence of extra pillows or blankets, lack of hair dryers, and very limited toiletries (e.g., "one measly shampoo and no plastic cups"). The general ambiance, as conveyed by some reviews, leans towards a facility that is struggling with upkeep and maintaining a fresh, inviting atmosphere. The external environment, while located in East Syracuse, does not offer specific details in the provided information, but its position on Old Collamer Road suggests a potentially commercial or suburban setting rather than a scenic one. For individuals seeking a pristine or contemporary hotel environment, the current state of Americas Best Value Inn East Syracuse might not align with those expectations, based on reported guest experiences. It is critical for potential guests to manage expectations regarding the property's overall condition and aural environment.
Regarding services, Americas Best Value Inn East Syracuse, as observed from guest feedback, appears to offer a minimal range, primarily focused on basic check-in and check-out procedures. Customer service experiences, particularly at the front desk, have been a significant area of concern for some guests. While the hotel does have a reception area, one extremely negative review highlights a severe breakdown in service regarding extended stays and communication. This account details a situation where a guest was reportedly assured an extended stay, only to be locked out of their room later, with their belongings removed and a refusal by the night staff to resolve the issue or provide access to their items without further payment. This suggests potential inconsistencies or lapses in communication and policy adherence among staff members, leading to highly frustrating and disruptive experiences for guests. The lack of proactive problem-solving or accommodation in such situations, as described by the guest, is a critical service deficiency. The general impression gathered from reviews points to a transactional service model rather than a guest-centric one. Requests for additional items like extra pillows or blankets were met with unavailability, indicating a potential lack of stock or a policy that limits such provisions. While a 24-hour front desk is typically a standard for hotels of this type, the quality of interaction and problem resolution can vary significantly. For those searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" and prioritizing reliable, consistent, and empathetic customer service, the experiences reported suggest a need for caution and thorough inquiry prior to booking.
The features of Americas Best Value Inn East Syracuse, based on the provided information, seem to be basic and aimed at providing essential lodging. The rooms are equipped with beds, and while cleanliness and comfort levels vary based on individual reviews, they are intended to offer a place to sleep. The presence of a television and basic toiletries, though sometimes described as inadequate, are standard features. The hotel apparently attempts to provide some amenities, such as soap and shampoo, but the quantity and quality may be limited. One specific feature mentioned is the beds, which have been criticized for their poor condition, with "destroyed" springs, implying a lack of maintenance and comfort. The absence of a hair dryer and the provision of only a small soap bar and one shampoo bottle suggest that the in-room amenities are very minimal. The hotel's designation as an "Americas Best Value Inn" typically implies a budget-friendly property, which often correlates with a simpler set of features and services compared to higher-tier hotels. The hotel is located on Old Collamer Road, which may offer convenient access to certain areas of East Syracuse for travelers. However, the reported issues with room conditions, including "smoky smelling" rooms and stains, indicate a significant challenge in maintaining basic hygiene and quality standards. The fact that the hotel was seemingly "under renovation" at one point, yet without visible signs of work, suggests a disconnect between stated intentions and actual improvements. For guests specifically looking for "Hotels Near Of Me" with robust features, modern amenities, or a high standard of comfort and cleanliness, the current state of Americas Best Value Inn East Syracuse, as depicted in reviews, might not meet those expectations.
Regarding promotional information, Americas Best Value Inn East Syracuse, like other hotels in the "Hotels Near Of Me" category, primarily promotes itself on its affordability and location. Being part of the Americas Best Value Inn chain, it targets budget-conscious travelers. While no specific promotional offers are detailed in the provided text, the main "promotion" is typically the lower price point compared to full-service hotels in the area. However, it's crucial for potential guests to balance the perceived value of a lower price with the experiences reported by past customers. The reviews highlight significant dissatisfaction with the quality of the accommodation and the level of service, which can negate any perceived savings. Phrases like "buyer beware" and "Never again will I stay here" from actual customers serve as strong counter-promotional warnings, advising against booking without careful consideration. The hotel's ability to be booked during peak times, such as a graduation, suggests that it may be a last resort when other options in Syracuse are fully booked. This could imply a reliance on demand when higher-rated hotels are unavailable. While the hotel's website or other booking platforms might list standard amenities and competitive pricing, it is essential for prospective guests to delve into recent guest reviews to form a realistic expectation. The phone numbers provided, (315) 437-3500 and +1 315-437-3500, would be the primary channels for direct inquiries about pricing and availability. However, based on the customer feedback, it's advisable for potential guests to be very clear about their expectations and to seek clarification on policies, especially regarding extended stays or room conditions, before committing to a reservation at Americas Best Value Inn East Syracuse. The overall promotional message, derived from the available information, points towards a hotel that offers a basic, budget-tier lodging experience, but with notable inconsistencies in quality and customer service that prospective guests should be fully aware of.

Feb 15, 2025 · JoyfulAbsolute awful chemical smell up entering the room. Just really bad. I Wasn't even in the room for 10 minutes and someone knocked on the door. (Creepy!). Cheap plastic chair that actually ripped my shirt because it was damaged. The noise from ice machine and the hotel staff woke me up at least twice.
Nov 02, 2024 · J SYou get what you pay! This place is a Time Machine, you go back at least 60 years, not only that, the carpet is old and way to used, the chairs in the rooms are stained and the whole vibe is just modern. The personnel at the front fest were very nice, the breakfast is only coffee. Not a place to bring family.
Oct 27, 2024 · Ralph MontoyaIt was truly the worst experience of any hotel I have ever had. I don’t know how the people who own this can get away with it. Floors were damp reeks of weed bugs strange objects such as glow sticks found in bed. There were also holes in the blankets the lock did not work on the door. The mattress has springs poking out of it as well. Do not stay here.
