Absolute liars, thieves and drug addicts are the people who run this place. Luis is the manager who will get what’s coming to him. Will steal your money and evict you and try to say they’re still good people. I’ll show you just how good you are Luis, you dim witted little stain upon this world.
For individuals and travelers in search of "Hotels Near Of Me" within Keansburg, New Jersey, the Belvedere Hotel, located at 15 Laurel Ave, Keansburg, NJ 07734, USA, may appear as a listing. To provide an objective introduction, it is crucial to present the information available, including starkly contrasting customer reviews, to give a comprehensive picture of what a potential guest might expect.
The environment of the Belvedere Hotel, based on the provided customer feedback, presents a highly contentious picture. While one review vigorously defends the hotel, stating that others are "very misinformed or making up information that is not true," and denying issues like roaches or bed bugs, another review is overwhelmingly negative, describing the people who run the place as "Absolute liars, thieves and drug addicts." This severe divergence in opinions makes it challenging to paint a consistent picture of the hotel's physical environment and atmosphere. Typically, properties in this category might aim for a basic, no-frills environment, prioritizing affordability. The reviews suggest that the actual experience of this environment can range from acceptable for its price point to deeply distressing. The mention of individuals "using drugs" who are "kicked out immediately" by the hotel's policy indicates that the management is actively addressing such issues, which could contribute to a more controlled, albeit potentially tense, environment.
Regarding services and features, the Belvedere Hotel appears to operate as a budget-friendly accommodation, potentially catering to extended stays given the weekly pricing mentioned in one review ("$40 a week for an air conditioner? WRONG!!!!"). This pricing structure suggests a focus on affordability for longer-term guests. The specific mention of an air conditioner fee, though refuted by a current guest, indicates that additional charges for certain amenities might be a consideration. The core services would likely include basic lodging. However, the information provided does not detail common hotel amenities such as complimentary breakfast, Wi-Fi, or specific room features like TVs or private bathrooms, which are typical for a comprehensive hotel introduction. The positive review asserts the absence of pest issues like roaches or bed bugs, which, if accurate, is a fundamental feature of any habitable accommodation.
Customer service at the Belvedere Hotel is the most polarizing aspect based on the available reviews. One review expresses extreme dissatisfaction, making grave accusations against the manager, Luis, alleging theft and unjust eviction, and describing treatment as "absolute GARBAGE." This review speaks of a deeply disturbing and unforgettable experience, characterized by a complete lack of fairness and respect. This strongly negative sentiment points to severe interpersonal issues between staff/management and at least one guest. In stark contrast, the other review defends the hotel and its management, implying that negative information is false or misrepresented. This reviewer highlights the hotel's policy of immediately kicking out guests suspected of drug use, which, from their perspective, reflects a commitment to maintaining order and a specific type of environment. The absence of specific examples of positive customer service interactions, beyond the general defense, makes it difficult to ascertain the routine quality of service, but the extreme negative feedback is certainly a red flag for potential guests.
The location of the Belvedere Hotel in Keansburg, NJ, positions it in a shore town. Keansburg offers local attractions such as the Keansburg Amusement Park and Beach. For those searching "Hotels Near Of Me" in this specific area, the hotel's address indicates its presence within the local community. However, the reviews do not provide much insight into the convenience or appeal of the immediate surroundings for typical tourist activities or dining options.
From a promotional standpoint, a hotel like the Belvedere Hotel would typically emphasize its affordability ("decently priced for what you get"). The second review strongly defends its value proposition and refutes common negative perceptions, potentially serving as a form of counter-promotion. It attempts to reassure potential guests about cleanliness ("no roaches or bed bugs") and a strict policy against drug use. However, the presence of such intensely negative reviews, containing strong accusations of misconduct and a complete breakdown of trust, would pose a significant challenge to any positive promotional efforts. The explicit warning "I would NOT recommend a stay here, not even for an enemy" from one guest is a powerful deterrent that overrides generic promotional claims. Therefore, objective promotion would require acknowledging the highly disparate guest experiences and advising potential guests to conduct thorough due diligence, especially given the severity of some claims.

Jul 15, 2024 · Roman GIt's decently priced for what you get, and all of you people are very misinformed or making up information that is not true. $40 a week for am air conditioner? WRONG!!!! I actually am currently staying here and so is my boyfriend, neither of us had ANY experience with any roaches or bed bugs, or any bugs for that matter. There are OF COURSE your couple of jerks who ruin the reputation for everyone by using drugs, however if you're seen high or suspected of being on drugs.... your kicked out immediately and put on a "not allowed to return" list. so you can all get off your high horses and get correct information before you go running your mouths with lies.
Dec 06, 2023 · Sarah RonanWhile most know it as the Belvedere Hotel, this is more of a Youth-hostel, room and board type of place and it was my salvation when I didn't know where to go. I was on the waiting list for two housing authorities (Keansburg and Hackensack) but neither housing authority wanted to help me because I had a felony on my record from Florida. If not for the Belvedere I would have been sleeping in a tent in the woods. They are fair most of the time but I thought that for sharing a dirty bathroom and for no a/c in the rooms, the prices (weekly or monthly) were too expensive for that when they ask for $700 per month. A fair rate for what they offer would be $100 per week, no more. A great rate for what they offer would be $75 per week and then people would pay better and not try to rip them off. The location is good, a short walk from the beach and boardwalk on the quiet and private side of town. It would've been nice if there was a Dollar Tree or something like that a bit closer for snow days or those days when you can't afford a cab. Not much parking around the hotel because most those staying there can't afford their own car after paying the "rent" fee. Many depressed people there drown their sorrows the wrong way and that may be why they had some bug issues. I had some roaches in my room, but it wasn't that bad considering they do allow tenants or visitors to use a microwave and cook up their own meals. This is not glamorous like The Hilton or The Hyatt. This is a great place to get started when you don't know where else to go. It's better than camping in a tent, and better than some homeless shelters I've stayed at where they give you a curfew and tell you what to eat and what to read. Ray and his team in the office are mostly kind and fair and if you let them know what's going on with you, they try to help. The bad reviews on this place are probably because the past few years, Ray's team has been slowly trying to renovate it, and many travelers come and go and make it harder for them. I had a melt down and broke the door handle on my room and I had to go to the hospital for my meltdown. Ray knew I had some mental problems, I wasn't on drugs, but I didn't go back there to live because I thought they were mad at me for breaking the door handle.
Jan 27, 2022 · Shanon Angermeyer-NormanWhat you pay for is what you get for the most part the place is all right the only downside is you have to share a bathroom most people keep their self but every place has their drama. The only good thing about it is that the Academy Bus picks you up right across the street and you're close to Route 36 there has been some Renovations done so the place is starting to come together Rome wasn't built in a day
Jan 24, 2018 · David RoseBed bug, roaches and a slum lord, not at all a hotel. Its a rooming house that doubles as a crack house. The people are as dirty as the building. Stay far away from here, even at your worse... You can do better.
