Far enough from the hustle and bustle to be quiet at night, but that means it’s always far from food options. Everything we had DoorDashed to us was cold by the time we got it. The laundry facilities were out of order, which was not voiced upon check in. It was kind of a pain. The room was clean, but the AC unit had a really funky mildew smell. We stayed a week, so before we left the room for the day every morning I sprayed the vents and intake with Lysol. That seemed to make it less noticeable. There were loose ibuprofen pills from the previous guest between the bed and nightstand on the floor. The beds were clean and comfortable, very soft pillows. They made for a very good night’s sleep. I loved the vanity mirror with the light tough settings allowing for different shades of light. The staff was great! The desk clerks for morning and evening were always super friendly and were quick to get us what we needed. The lady that served the breakfast every morning was an absolute doll. It was so nice to have hot coffee waiting in the lobby every morning. They also had scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage plus one of those make your own waffle set-ups.

Wecame for food and family. I really was pleasantly suprised. We enjoyed our stay. Front desk was really nice. Rooms were super clean and updated. I gave 4 stars because there was no elevator and breakfast is not that great but we went and got some corner store breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.

When first walking into this hotel, I was immediately hit in the face with an extremely strong deoderizer smell. It literally took my breath away. It seemed to be covering up a really bad poop smell, which I started smelling when the overpowering deodorizer started fading. The young front desk working was helpful and kind. After arriving in my first room, I found out my refrigerator wasn’t working so I went back to the front desk. He resolved my issue by allowing me to store my food in their personal fridge. Once I got back to the room, my TV was working properly so again I went back to the front desk and he resolved my issue. Although, this place was said it’s being renovated, it seemed more like a cover up. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room itself was directly across from a gas station. The room echoed throughout the night from trucks, cars, and motorcycles going to the gas station. It took me forever to fall asleep. Once I finally went to sleep, I was awaken by being stung or bit. It hurt! I didn’t sleep at all after that. Front desk was accommodating and moved me to another room the next morning. Second room was better in the sense it wasn’t outside of the gas station but the bed was very uncomfortable and the room had an unpleasant smell. I also left my curling iron in the bathroom of the first room and it was never seen again. I was really unhappy about this. I literally didn’t leave the hotel and I was still on the same floor! Breakfast was terrible. Little variety. The eggs were weird and kind of hard. Bacon was super thin and lacked flavor. The fruit was the only good thing they offered. Coffee was okay. Even though I had another night to stay, I chose to pack up Sunday morning before I had to go to work to make the 6 1/2 hour drive back home after I got off work at 9 pm because my experience was so horrible. Will not return. Not worth the price!

Race weekend at NOLA Motorsports park. Hotel is VERY close to the track. Super convenient! And only minutes to New Orleans. The hotel is VERY clean and quite nice. Beds are super comfortable and the rooms are very quiet. Hotel personnel were superb and quite helpful and eager to please. I was very impressed with the experience!

-The shower had basically no water pressure at all. It took forever to wash my hair and my daughter’s. It was maybe a little more than a trickle. You also had to wait at least 5 minutes for the water to even get warm. -The beds were horribly uncomfortable. My husband even slept in a chair one night because the beds were so bad. -None of the ice machines worked. He even went to the floor above us. We had to go up front if we wanted ice. -The smell of marijuana permeated the hallway & lobby. The last night we were there, we could even smell it in our room. We don’t smoke AT ALL & the sign at the front desk said absolutely no smoking in the hotel or on the property, so to smell that in a hotel room where our children were was absurd. Especially since my daughter has asthma. -Multiple outlets didn’t work. Hair dryer had exposed wires coming from the cord. One lamp wouldn’t even turn off, we just had to unplug it. -We couldn’t get a comfy temperature in the room at all.
