I would give a 5-star if they consider a deep cleaning. I loved everything else about this hotel except that the room's carpets looked crazy dirty. I am returning here for another business trip next month and would be returning monthly. I would be happiest if they clean their carpets.

May 19, 2025 · Swetha BalajeeCheck-in was fast . The room was great. Bed was really comfortable, and I loved loved the pillows. I really liked the shower. The continental breakfast was really good. They had biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, which were really good and sausage, belgium waffles, toast, bagels, juice, and milk. They also have options for gluten-free.
Mar 30, 2025 · mary owenThis is a very nice downtown hotel. I actually think this is one of the more higher end Best Westerns I have ever stayed at. The rooms were spacious and customer service was above all. Will definitely stay at this location again if I'm in the downtown area.

Mar 16, 2025 · Kowk Chun LukIt's Okay TM. I chose this place as a more affordable alternative to the hotels by the convention center. Do I regret it? No. Would I do it again? Probably not. I'm used to slumming it in Motel 6s to save money on trips so I'm willing to put up with a lot, but I have three major complaints. First, I agree with other reviews that the hotel itself is quiet, but the location is not. This isn't really the hotel's fault and I guess dumb me for picking a downtown hotel to try to do some quiet writing around business. But if you're bothered by city noises, this is not the hotel for you. There's a ton of traffic moving around all sides of the hotel, which means a lot of engine revving, car horn/alarm, radio/subwoofers, and siren sounds at all hours. Muscle cars and bikers seem to really love this area. I never experienced this at the Sheraton because they have floors high enough to get away from it, but with three floors max here, you might as well be standing on the street corner. Second, the wifi is unsecured and abysmal. They give you a password but it never asks you to log in, just redirects you to an unsecured warning and then to the company website. I had good enough connection to stream music on YouTube but my download speed was like 0.05mbps until around 1 am. If you have virtual work obligations, avoid or bring hotspot. Third, the third floor has a strange smell. At first I thought it was a sort of exhaust smell from an old HVAC or something mechanical, but the longer I sit here smelling it the more I think it may be that plus a lingering smoke smell covered up poorly with disinfectant. I'm in a non-smoking room but it penetrates from the hall even with the window open and fan on. It's not like, Vegas hotel smell, it's more subtle like being in a musty garage. As for the rest of the room, this place is about as close as you can get to a Motel 6 while still calling yourself a hotel. Other reviews mention it's dated--yes, very. It's sufficiently clean on the surface and the bed is very comfortable, but the closer you look the more you start noticing the rusted fixtures, cracked grout, stains, and general roughness around the edges. The staff I've interacted with have been friendly, but I'm not sure if I'm comforted or concerned by the lobby doors being locked all the time. The parking lot could use some better security features for how much we're paying. The basketball court seems like a fun idea, but if your room is near it you will be woken up by the thump thump thump at 9am. Overall it's adequate enough but for what you get for the price, I'll probably just pick a quieter place farther out with free parking and save that $18 parking fee to ride share in instead.
