The location of the apartment in Phoenix was great. I did not rent a car so parking was not a consideration. The 1 bedroom apartment had everything I needed. The area was a little noisy at night but that was to be expected; I put on my ear buds and listed to music but the apartment did have ear plugs available. The only problem was the bathroom sink drained slowly which I am sure will be a quick fix. I would definitely stay there again!😃

Jun 03, 2025 · Charlotte WatsonSonder Ida was a really cool experience. The units are made from shipping containers, but they are fully finished on the inside. Very well insulated, and the AC hits the entire space. The layout was perfect and spacious. The bed was soooo comfortable. I wanted to know what mattress it was, but it was hermetically sealed. There is some noise later in the week from the bar next door ( we didn’t visit it, but it was very popular). There are coffee shops, small mom and pop restaurants, a brewery all so close by. The walk to the convention center is safe and about 10 minutes. We would absolutely stay again.
Apr 21, 2025 · Bonnie KonopkaBig fan of Sonders and this one is no exception. Easy to get in and out, lovely little 1 bedroom, perfect location to everything. Comfy bed, clean, big ole sofa, nice bathrooms and kitchen. Couldn’t ask for anything better especially at 100/night. Sofa does pull out to a bed but not very comfy as sofa beds are. Blanket could be more breathable but very cozy. I see a lot of reviews stating issues with service, noise and parking so pro tips that will ensure a 5 star stay: -Download the app!!!! It has a mobile key to access your room lock and codes are stored there. Also the WiFi password is stored there and staff contacts etc. -The point of a Sonder is that there is NO FRONT DESK STAFF. If this isn’t for you, don’t stay here. Otherwise everything is in the app so you really don’t need a staff. - YOU ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF DOWNTOWN. THERE WILL BE NOISE. Have common sense lol. That’s it 🤷🏽♀️ -The metered street parking you don’t actually have to pay for. There’s no charge from 10p to 8a but either way they don’t give you tickets if you don’t pay. Left my car in the same spot for 4 days straight with no pay, nothing happened. Hope this helps bc this place is great.
Apr 30, 2025 · Cheyenne StewartPros: (list is short) - Sushi place across the street is delicious and overall location is good. - Apartment is minimal and clean overall. - Saftey gates for property and units gives piece of mind. Cons: - Concept is nice, execution is terrible. - Units were sloppily put together and its very apparent. - Zero hot water. We are on day 3 and have received zero contact for suppport outside of a chat response stating theyd have it resolved in a few hours. After 8 hours, i called the "24/7 hotline" where the person on the other end had no idea what was going on and we were disconnected twice. I was optimistic about this property as i travel with Marriott anytime I can however, I dont forsee "Sonder" being an experience I aspire to repeat. Overall, this specific facility is a popsicle motel in gentrified clothing and I highly recommend going elsewhere.
Apr 27, 2025 · Delta PannellAlright, buckle up! Here's my take: **Rooms:** I was really impressed with the layout. I liked the open-concept (which means it has no doors) in the upstairs bedroom, and each room had its own full bathroom. One of the bathrooms had a small room attached to it where the washer and dryer were, which was a great bonus. The beds were clean and very comfortable. One thing to note is that the sofa can be transformed into a bed if needed, but the mattress was very thin and springy. However, it was still big enough to sleep in while in its sofa form. I thought it was amusing that each room came with earplugs, almost suggesting that it could get noisy since the property is surrounded by bars and restaurants. During my stay, I didn’t really hear much noise, though. **Internet:** This one's pretty straightforward—super fast internet speed! **Cleanliness:** I’d rate this a solid 9/10. Overall, it was pretty clean. **Service Desk:** There is no service desk, so I had to rely on the app for check-in instructions. Note that there is a gallery on the first floor of the property, but they can’t assist with any property-related questions. I recommend downloading the app to find your building number, room number, and access key to the property, as well as your room combination. **Location:** The property is right in the heart of downtown, with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. The area isn’t too crowded with cars, but be prepared to pay for parking almost everywhere. **Shower:** The showers were a decent experience, offering both hot and cold water options. Shampoo and towels were provided, which was convenient, but the pressure could’ve been a little stronger. Overall, the showers served their purpose well. Now, for the downsides: there’s no designated parking, so we had to feed the meters during the day, which can get expensive. Additionally, there’s no front desk. Fortunately, we only stayed for two days and didn’t run out of towels, but if we had, I’m not sure how we would have handled it since there was no clear way to ask for more. Now that’s my full rundown! It has its pros and cons, but overall, it wasn’t a bad experience.
