We had made a mistake about the time breakfast was over and Gale was so patient while we gathered what we wanted for breakfast so she could clean up the area. You could tell that she loves her job and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. Well done having her for a wonderful staff member.
Apr 10, 2025 · Darlene CI recently stayed at best western inn in Liverpool to come visit my son in college. I paid for my room upon arrival and paid for two nights. We ended up only needing to stay one night so we checked out early. They took my credit card to use as a hold for “incidentals” along with my debit card to pay for the room. They wanted a separate card for the hold. Four days later, I checked my credit card to see if I was refunded the $100 deposit and found that they charged my card $300! I called the hotel and got hung up on 3 times tying to get to the bottom of it. Finally got a male on the phone telling me I wasn’t getting my money refunded for breaking hotel policy. My credit card company contacted the hotel and they sent hotel policy over saying $250 was a penalty for smoking in the room. I’ve never smoked a day in my life. We didn’t check in until after dinner time. We dropped our luggage off and went out for the night returning to go to bed around 11pm. Before we left in the morning I asked the maids to change our bedding because it was dirty. Advised maids of the bathtub drain being clogged up with hair that I had to pull out with a pan on my own. We were gone for a college ball game all day and then did things around town. We returned to pack and then checked out. The maids never did what we asked either. The property is refusing my refund and I know am in contact with an attorney. This hotel is not worth the trouble and money it’s going to cost me. I had recently paid the balance off on my credit card to now be stuck with a $300 balance that I will fight. Do not use this company they are thieves

When I tried to show the front desk lady she denied it and said it was nothing. Their pool was eerie and creepy, it was also gross. My room here was okay. Overall a gross hotel and would never in a million years recommend it.

This Best Western Liverpool-Syracuse Inn & Suites forced me to pay an unexpected and unauthorized charge for my room even after I redeemed 100% of my Best Western Rewards Points successfully for my room with a $0.00 balance on my Best Western Reservation Confirmation email. After complaining to two Staff Members and the General Manager, they chose not to do the right thing by giving me an acceptable explanation and return my money that they took without my authorization. I am very disappointed about my negative experiences of this dishonest and questionable Best Western Hotel & Franchisee this time.
