Jun 08, 2025 · Thomas BoswellWonderful Marriott hotel right in the heart of Bethesda Maryland. We really appreciate that they have lots of amenities including a M club right on the first floor, and a wonderful restaurant right in the lobby. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating during the quick and easy check-in process. The M club was clean and relaxing. We also ate at the restaurant here in the lobby and our food was wonderful. They were a little bit short-staffed, but the manager was helping and everybody got their lunch served hot and fresh
Apr 06, 2025 · Mary BiancalanaStayed at this location Friday and Saturday. Had to call several times for our air conditioning to be fixed and it was never taken care of. They didn't offer to move us to another room or anything. We were completely miserable. Everything else about the hotel was great!
Jun 16, 2025 · Cameron WebbDaughter and I came to the hotel because she was having outpatient surgery the next morning at 5 AM. upon checking we found out they had a shuttle to the hospital which was a pleasant surprise. I think they should really market this. There was an ice and snowstorm that day and the parking lot was cleared and salted. Lobby area is a little confusing because you have to walk in and turn left to find the desk. However, the staff greet you as you come in and are super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The desk clerk knew that my daughter prefers many towels and had them ready upon our arrival. We weren’t impressed with the available TV channels but we eventually found something to watch. We did go to the bar restaurant on-site. It was late, but the food was delicious and fresh. The bartender was kind and friendly. When two women sit at a bar, sometimes we are ignored, but this was not the case here. We felt comfortable and enjoyed our meal. Hotel is easy to find right off the highway.
Feb 09, 2025 · Patricia PohlI was (without asking) done the"favor" of being moved to "better room" to avoid being next to the ice machine. I'm a Gold Elite member so I thought it would be a complimentary upgrade; however, the room I was given was tiny, the bedding was old and tattered, and the desk was too small for me to get any work done on. The elevator was partially broken and I wound up in the service sub-basement because it would not stop at my floor. Then a maintenance worker in the sub-basement spent several minutes trying to get the button to work. The elevator floor was also filthy, as though someone spilled a drink and it was not properly mopped up - it was like that for the 3 days I stayed here. Also, they don't have luggage racks. I travel a lot for work and I use the luggage rack to hold my suitcase while I inspect for bedbugs. This is how I found out that the sheets were old and tattered. I stay at a lot of hotels and this is most definitely not a 4 Star hotel. I have to travel to the area again later this year and will definitely be staying elsewhere. Also, the TV kept buffering and couldn't establish a connection to their own internet.
