The breakfast bar is good. They have omelets and pancakes etc. They evening reception actually has approved they offered fresh fruit and chips with chili and cheese. Along with 2 drinks to help you feel at home. The room was spacious and clean. The bedding is what you expect at such establishment. I liked the city view. All in all if you are in the DC area and looking to lay your head down. I would say you should give these folks a try and critique it as well. Two thumbs up!

Jun 16, 2025 · Butch chandlerWe arrived at the Embassy Suites Chevy Chase Pavilion a bit later in the evening of our first day in the DC area. David at the front desk was exceptional. He provided us with excellent customer service. This location in relationship to public transportation could not have been better. The Metro Rail is in the basement here. We love it. The breakfast is very good as well. Loved the omelettes everyday. The suite we were 427 was the standard room for embassy I think. It was comfortable and clean. The only thing I did not like was the noise or banging we heard on Thursday and Friday coming from some type of construction or repairs. This is a very good hotel and bit pricey. The staff here at all levels were cordial and professional.
Jun 15, 2025 · John BrinsonThis place is so great! Can’t believe it’s one of the cheapest hotels in DC but has more amenities than any of the others! Huge breakfast, amazingly friendly staff, great pool space for the kids (even though they have a lot of hours blocked off for swim lessons), and really big rooms with great bathrooms. It’s a great place for solo travelers, families, conference-goers and probably anyone but a couple seeking a romantic getaway.
Jun 06, 2025 · Linsey PattonOverall nice hotel, good location to the subway system however.... we purposely chose this hotel because after walking all day we wanted to relax in the hot tub. Hot tub was out of order. When we checked out the desk clerk Rose was belligerent with us when we asked for a discount due to the hot tub issue. It was really surprising that a customer would be treated like that with just the mention of getting a couple of bucks off the bill.
Jun 17, 2025 · Ryan BayerThis is the THIRD Hilton hotel that we've stayed in that has had a defective or completely out-of-order pool/hot tub. There were no towels in the pool area on multiple occasions and the swim classes were held outside of the posted hours, so the pool area was chaotic at all times when we went down there. The pool area was also filthy - hair, dirt, dirty floors every day we went down there. There is no "bar," that is VERY misleading, only having happy hour for 1.5 hours is a joke though the drinks were good quality at least (if all the needed ingredients were available for what we wanted anyway). Breakfast was fine, but no waffles was a major bummer for my kids. And the powdered scrambled eggs? Are you serious? For ~$250/night at least use real eggs! The nighttime front desk staff were not very helpful, and as our room phone didn't work at all, we had to call from our cell phone and were on hold for up to 10 minutes, regardless of what we needed. The gym area was also filthy and unkept - equipment left out, dirty floors. The biggest pro to this location is the proximity to the subway and the attached Cheesecake Factory (but they close at 10:00pm). There is also a bar (Aura Bar) and Amazon Fresh for the groceries we needed within walking distance, which was a plus. The last time I posted a negative review about a Hilton hotel (Garden Inn) I never heard back from anyone, so we won't be staying with Hilton again.
