We booked here last minute while in town for work conference and were so pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating and the rooms were actually fantastic. I would not have guessed this pulling in, not because the exterior doesn’t look fine but just not what I would have expected when I saw the room and the view. Beds & linens were great. Whole floor smelled amazing. Complementary drinks and waters on our floor as well. Very convenient restaurant and bar, one inside and one outside with some live music as well. Location was also fantastic in a great very safe part of town too. Will definitely go back next time we come out.

Jun 09, 2025 · Sonja IsbellWe booked a room here last minute and had a really great experience. Staff was friendly and helpful upon arrival, room was spacious, clean and quiet. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Awesome check out time and very convenient location. We had brunch at the hotel restaurant, service was great. Food and drinks were really good also. We would definitely stay again and recommend.
May 26, 2025 · Dianna LuerasI did not park here so I can't speak to the parking garage inconveniences. What I will say is that it has a really cool charm to it and the staff is helpful and friendly. My room was large, clean, and had plenty of outlets including a USB port on the nightstand. Considerable aspects in the room where the wooden furniture piece that covered the air conditioning unit. Usually hotels just leave that's exposed, which is fine but I thought it was a really nice touch. They gave complementary snacks, water bottles, and soft drinks. I've never experienced this at a hotel. The gym was honestly one of the best I've seen in a hotel with the amount and variability of the equipment it had in it. It's in the basement and it's kind of dark down there, but I didn't mind it at all. They even had sleds and a long artificial turf for pushing them. Really surprised about this space. The location was fairly convenient and there was plenty to access in terms of restaurants, and was even close to Georgetown University and all of the national museums and government buildings. Honestly the bed was not the most comfortable one I've stayed in, but if I was to pick at anything it would have been this. One of the three best hotels I stayed in here in DC. And for the price, comparatively, it definitely pushes it to five stars.
May 02, 2025 · Steven HernandezWe had a lovely stay at the Glover Park Hotel in Georgetown. While the building itself is older and the hotel isn’t modern or luxurious, it has a certain charm and character that makes it feel cozy and inviting. The location is fantastic — in a quiet part of Georgetown with easy access to the waterfront, restaurants, and great shopping. We found it very convenient to get around. The hotel was clean, well-kept, and a great value for the price. It’s definitely a solid 3-star stay — nothing fancy, but comfortable and reliable. Perfect if you're looking for a simple place to stay in that area. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider booking here again for future trips to DC!
Apr 22, 2025 · Natalia StrukovaHave stayed at Glover Park Hotel four times under its various names and manifestations. Called to confirm reservation several times during the last week...the automatic phone system is horrible. Impossible to get someone on the premises with the hotel's five different phone numbers. Each time, the visit has been worse. We stay because of convenience to Georgetown University and the vibrant area. We just arrived at 4 pm today...staying in an "upgraded" club room...and have called for service 4 times. No furniture to speak of in the room...two beds and a desk. No place for storing clothing over the next week, a small closet with 5 hangers. A double room for two persons has one sink, one luggage rack, two towels, and no water pressure. The toilet seat flops up and down when you walk into the tiny bathroom and may flush once every five tries. We were told all of the club rooms have different configurations and furniture. Some have sofas...ours has no place to sit. On a positive note, the newly configured restaurant, a combined version of the old Grill with the Italian Divino, is very good. Does appear to be run by novices, but the service effort is definitely there. Day 2 of our visit...Hotel definitely redeemed itself thanks to the plumber who attempted to reverse the low water pressure issue. As he had no success, he moved us to the room next door. What a difference...thought we were in a different hotel. Great room with two beds, furniture, artwork, and water pressure. The plumber and the desk clerk were so helpful during this process.
