Lovely traditional hotel in Georgetown. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. Our room was really nice, big comfortable bed, plenty of storage, coffee maker and fresh bottled water (no charge). Bathroom was compact but had everything you needed, good shower, toiletries available including shower cap & cotton wool pads. They also have a great information binder for places to visit. Reception area is lovely with a coupe if seating areas. They have a restaurant & bar attached, really nice vibe and worth a visit. Finally, a nice touch from the staff was leaving chocolates & a card advising the weather forecast for the following day.

May 18, 2025 · Charmaine JonesGreat Hotel location. In the middle of town and a quick 15 min walk to Georgetown. That being said I would never stay here or recommend staying here to anyone. This hotel has the worst beds I have ever slept on in my life. A sleeping bag on the floor would be more comfortable. Very old and hard and you could feel every spring and lump. Even though location was great I would never stay here again. I am in my early 30s and this bed messed up my back so badly that it actually threw my back out. I understand hotels is just a place just to sleep and I was fine with older bathrooms but comfortable bed is a non negotiable. You should not be waking up in pain from a bed. Do not make the same mistake just because location.
Jun 15, 2025 · Nikita SchulmanThe good: Great location, no hidden charges like a hospitality fee, valet parking was very convenient and just $40 (compared to $60 elsewhere in DC). There was no mini fridge in the room but one was provided upon request at no charge. The not so good: The TV screen was the smallest I’ve ever seen in a comparably sized hotel room; ridiculously small. The sliding bathroom door lacked a basic handle. Details matter. All in all a nice place and a good value but needs a passable TV!
Jun 06, 2025 · R WI always hate to do bad reviews but people need to know this place is not worth the money. The rooms a very beautiful but if feels like the air conditioning is always fighting for its life to cool down the room. There is no mini fridge in room so if you have leftovers from dinner there is no where to put it. The town is beautiful but traffic can be a nightmare. Out of all of the staff I talked to here only one man was friendly. The rest are just horrible. There is no parking unless you pay $40 a day which is insane to me because I parked and picked up my own vehicle. Find somewhere else if possible!!
Jun 22, 2025 · Justin StillingerMy experience at this hotel was bad, I stayed with my daughter and the people working there were drunk. My daughter called the front desk in the morning to get the air conditioning fixed because it was bad. A short man named Gerry came into the room and we smelled alcohol coming from the man. My daughter was very observant and she made me aware of the incident and she noticed the man's name. It's a shame that there are people working at a hotel like this who are allowed to work in that state. My daughter forbade me from going to that hotel anymore since we were regular guests, but with that, my daughter doesn't want us to go there anymore and we changed hotels because my daughter is attending one of the most prestigious universities in Washington DC. I hope you all take note of this comment, since I read one before, and that's why my daughter encouraged me to post, hoping that in the future we'll go back there and not have to go through that bad experience.
