Came to stay at this hotel to attend a wedding. The lobby was spacious with lots of natural light, and beautifully decorated. The room was clean and specious. The front desk & housekeeping employees were super nice and friendly! This hotel is in walking distance to many good restaurants. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars out of 5 (sorry!) is because their M club was not as good as many other Marriott hotels that we stayed in previously. Otherwise, it is a wonderful place to stay.

May 26, 2025 · Farah FaruqueThe front desk staff who checked me in named Rachel V was very accommodating. Made me feel very welcome (in a rather rainy and cold day after along commute). Rachel was very kind and hospitable- my accolades go Ananya (at the front desk) also assisted in items-was helpful during my stay. Clean rooms-and nice restaurant area- solid experience!
Apr 14, 2025 · Sammy ZRoom was not in best cleaned condition. However, I was tired on arrival and only staying for 1 night so did not request for a room change. Lounge was nice with coffee and tea available throughout the day.
Jun 15, 2025 · Rachel CThe only thing this hotel has going for it is the location—convenient access to Pike & Rose and the Metro. That’s where the positives end. The walls in this place are paper thin. I could hear my neighbor talking on the phone all day, every day, as if he were sitting in the room with me. Not arguing or yelling—just regular conversation coming through the wall like it was tissue paper. For the price point, that level of noise bleed is unacceptable. Let’s talk about coffee. Or rather, the lack of it. No complimentary coffee in the lobby. If you want caffeine, you’re either making a sad cup in your room or walking somewhere else and paying out of pocket. For a hotel charging north of $280 a night, it’s honestly ridiculous that you can’t get a basic amenity like that. Now for the absolute shakedown: they charge you by the pound just to accept a package at the front desk from Amazon. Not to deliver it to your room. Just to hold it. There’s no warning about this, no heads-up when the package arrives—just a surprise charge when you go to pick it up. It’s a petty and outrageous policy that shows how completely out of touch this place is. Charging guests to accept their own packages? Really? And of course, there’s the $30-a-night parking fee. That would maybe make sense in a packed urban downtown—but this isn’t it. There’s plenty of parking around, and no justifiable reason to nickel and dime guests for it. It’s just more of the same: charging because they can, not because it makes sense. This Marriott, much like the overpriced and overhyped area it’s in, feels entirely disconnected from the rest of the country. It’s operating like it’s some elite New York hotel, but it delivers none of the service or amenities to back it up. As a good elite member who stays at Marriotts everywhere I go, I won’t be back—and it’s deeply disappointing to see a hotel in Marriott’s own backyard operating with this level of greed and disregard for the guest experience.
Apr 30, 2025 · DonAttended a graduation ceremony here over the weekend. Lovely conference center! Parking was super easy, employees were helpful, and the buffet was better than expected.
