At check in the woman at the front desk was extremely rude. When I went back to ask for more towels and blankets she said “oh it’s you”. She then complained that she had to go into the basement to get items. This place was falling down. The bathroom in the room was disgusting. The drop ceiling had stains, floor was dirty and there were dirty mirrors on every wall. The view outside is pretty. That’s the only plus that I could find.

While some reviews mention that certain areas or rooms can appear "dated" or "run down" with issues like "stains" or "dirty mirrors," others praise the "beautiful location" and note that some rooms are "spotlessly clean and very modern" with "newer flooring." This suggests a varying experience depending on the specific accommodation type and recent renovations. May 14, 2025 · Nicole FeltsRooms are dated but our daughter loves the pool suite.. for the most part comfortable, can feel the springs in the rollaway bed. But we love 1000 islands. Perfect spot for school winter break.
Feb 19, 2025 · Karen StruckerWe went in January which is obviously the off season so we were one of the only people in the place but overall our experience was great and we would go again. The rooms aren't expensive, even for a king bed jacuzzi suite. The hotel is showing its age but the room was clean and the view was very nice.
Jan 21, 2025 · Jesse WilleyLocation was nice, mold all throughout rooms. We got switched to two different rooms and then decided to upgrade to another room that also had mild. The staff thinks that they can come in your room whenever they want.
Feb 01, 2025 · Kenna MosleyWe stayed for two nights, December 27 and 28th...we're ship watchers and saw alot of ships! Our room was nice but freezing cold! We had the heat on 85 degrees and the room finally heated up late on the 28th!!! I noticed very small ants on the bathroom floor, the ceiling above the bathtub looked like it was ready to fall in!!! Price was right but I'm not sure we'd stay there again!
