Went here with my wife for a quick weekend road trip. Since there are no national chains in the area we opted to stay here. The property seems kind of run down and the rooms are not well maintained. The room we stayed in smelled like mildew and had a ton of spiders stuck to the outside if the building, which wouldn't necessarily be an issue except the door is also on the outside. The room had the smallest shower I have ever seen, with barely enough room to stand. The staff there was friendly and helpful and the food at the resturant was great.

So, right off, the place is very dated and needs a lot of work. Location is very good, you can walk to town in a couple of minutes. We booked a few nights the last week of September. the room is much smaller than the pictures show. Basic bathroom, shower head needs upgrading. I don't think we had one towel that did not have a rip or a hole in it. Every time you turned the TV on is would say 'no signal'. So I had to unplug the cable box and plug it back in to reset it which too about 8 minutes for it to reboot every time. Just over the bed there were small spider webs with little spiders crawling around. Out on the balcony, there were large spider webs and spiders attached to the outside light and up in the eaves. It didn't look like any effort was made to clean them up. People were very nice but definitely not worth the price. The food in both dining rooms was OK but basic. Nothing to get excited about.

Bed bugs. Spotty electricity. Cold showers. Dated everything. Dump.... The staff were nice and we felt bad for them. They were doing the best they could, but they were set up for failure by their management.

We spent a few nights here for our son's birthday. The place is a little dated and needs some work but what place doesn't need work. The staff are all pleasant and very helpful. The room was nice but like I said needs some updating. The balcony view was nice. The food was great and very reasonable. All in all we had a great time. Would stay there again just wish they would get firmer beds.
