I booked this room online, I had a child and our emotional support cat with me, and the booking site said pets were allowed, $15 fee. I was pretty desperate to leave another long-term stay hotel in the area, and this was my last resort. Looks like a ghetto apartment building from outside. Went to check in, and informed the lady we had our pet with us. She said she would have to call the owner because “we ain’t allowing cats right now, someone just left 16”. So she called him, informed me the fee was going to be $15 a night, and I needed a $200 deposit. I obliged, but she insisted the deposit had to be CASH, despite the policy not being posted anywhere. Again, I was desperate, so I said OKAY, and I went back out to find an ATM, mind you, I’m not familiar with this area, but it’s very rural and rundown, it gives “poor south”. I returned with my cash, entered the lobby, and the concierge was nowhere to be found. I waited 10 minutes, I called, and she hung up on me twice, so we ended up not even getting the reservation as we were promised. Very ghetto. Do not recommend.
Howdy, North Carolinians! When planning a trip to Greensboro, whether for business, visiting family, or exploring local attractions, finding the right place to stay is a key part of your journey. For those on a strict budget, or seeking a no-frills option, you might come across the Bravo Inn Greensboro. Situated conveniently near some of Greensboro's popular spots, it aims to provide basic accommodations for travelers.
It's important to approach budget-friendly lodging with realistic expectations. The Bravo Inn Greensboro, located at 2600 Preddy Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27407, USA, presents itself as a straightforward option. While some online reviews highlight significant concerns regarding cleanliness, customer service, and property conditions, other public information attempts to convey a positive picture of amenities. For locals considering this hotel, it’s crucial to be aware of the full spectrum of experiences reported by previous guests. This article aims to provide a factual overview, drawing from available public data, to help you make an informed decision for your stay in Greensboro.
The Bravo Inn Greensboro is located at 2600 Preddy Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27407, USA. This address places it in a location that offers reasonable accessibility to several popular Greensboro attractions, particularly for those with a vehicle.
A significant draw of this location is its proximity to Wet 'n Wild Emerald Pointe Water Park, which is often cited as being within 3 miles (or around 1.1 to 1.6 kilometers) of the hotel. This makes it a potentially convenient option for families planning to visit the water park. Other nearby points of interest within a short drive (typically less than 3 miles) include the Oka T Hester Park Tennis Center, Four Seasons Town Centre (a major shopping destination), and Airbound Trampoline Park Greensboro. The Joseph S. Koury Convention Center is also noted as being within a 3-mile radius. For those interested in cultural or educational sites, the Greensboro Science Center, University of North Carolina at Greensboro School of Nursing, Bennett College, Weatherspoon Art Museum, and Greensboro Children's Museum are also mentioned as being within a reasonable distance (ranging from 2.2 to 11 miles).
The hotel is described as being "close to the highway" (I-85B and I-73), which is beneficial for guests traveling by car and needing easy access to different parts of Greensboro, High Point, and surrounding areas of North Carolina. One of the key advantages for travelers with vehicles is the provision of "free self-parking" or "parking included" on site, including space for RV/bus/trucks, which is a valuable amenity, especially for budget-conscious travelers. However, some reviews also describe the immediate surrounding area as "rural and rundown," giving a "poor south" impression, which might influence some guests' perception of safety and comfort, especially if walking. Despite this, its proximity to major recreational and retail hubs could be a practical consideration for certain travelers.
Based on various public listings and generalized information, Bravo Inn Greensboro offers a range of basic services and amenities typical of budget-friendly accommodations.
Some online sources also mention services like room service and laundry service, but these details should be verified directly, as they might not be consistently offered or universally applicable. It's important for guests to manage expectations regarding the extent and consistency of these services.
When considering Bravo Inn Greensboro, certain features are highlighted, primarily focusing on convenience and basic comfort, though some aspects are subject to varied guest experiences.
It is crucial to acknowledge that guest reviews frequently raise concerns regarding cleanliness, maintenance (e.g., non-functional locks, mold, dirty bathrooms, torn mattresses), and inconsistent staff interactions. These highly negative experiences regarding the actual condition and safety of the rooms stand in stark contrast to the amenities listed on official descriptions. Therefore, while these features are advertised, potential guests should be prepared for significant discrepancies based on past customer feedback.
As a budget hotel, Bravo Inn Greensboro typically focuses on offering competitive nightly rates rather than elaborate, continually changing promotional packages. Information regarding specific, ongoing special offers is often limited compared to larger hotel chains.
It's always recommended to contact Bravo Inn Greensboro directly to inquire about their current rates and any potential specials they might have. Keep in mind that for budget hotels, "promotions" are often just their standard low rates. Public information available online does not list specific promotional packages for Bravo Inn Greensboro.

For North Carolinians considering a stay in Greensboro, the Bravo Inn Greensboro might be suitable for a very specific type of local traveler: those on an extremely tight budget who prioritize minimizing costs above all else, and who are willing to accept the risks associated with highly varied and often negative guest experiences.
Its primary appeal for locals would be its potential affordability and its location near key attractions like Wet 'n Wild Emerald Pointe Water Park and the Four Seasons Town Centre, especially if transportation is by car due to the free on-site parking. For a quick, no-frills stopover where proximity to these specific sites is the main goal and budget is the absolute top priority, it could be considered. The availability of in-room microwaves and refrigerators also offers a practical way for locals to save money on dining out. Additionally, for locals needing a pet-friendly option where budget is critical, the stated pet policy might be a draw, although confirming all fees and deposits upfront and in writing is highly advisable given past guest feedback.
However, it is crucial for locals to set very realistic expectations based on the significant volume of negative reviews citing issues with cleanliness, maintenance, security (e.g., non-functional locks), and inconsistent staff service, including unusual payment demands (cash deposits not advertised). For most North Carolinians seeking a comfortable, reliable, and safe stay, even at a budget price point, these reported issues suggest that alternative accommodations with more consistent positive reviews might be a more prudent choice. If considering the Bravo Inn, verifying all current policies, room conditions, and pet fees directly and thoroughly before committing would be essential.

Apr 04, 2025 · Mollie SimpsonTrashed out rooms owned by group in India. Cockroachs and bedbugs. No locks on doors. I did not stay here, only to rescue those lost to Opie. You can do better in the trash bins.
Apr 05, 2025 · Thomas EllisGiving them an all star review! I was almost killed where I was at before going here. My Dad booked me here for a week! The lady at the desk was very nice & they had a room available that was perfect for me! Only thing about the service that was bad was that they never answered the phone when I needed more toilet paper & about the sheets & the AC leaking inside. But, it’s okay because I should’ve been up when the cleaning people were available. Will go back if I ever need a hotel because it was A WHOLE lot more better than Motel 6 was before the last place I was at
Aug 10, 2024 · Graham GoedeckIf you wanna say your classical drug infested places, this would be considered one of the staff there seems to hide in the back, so if somethings going on, you have to call them on the phone secondly, going into the building where your room is at the door is broken and just propped open. Trash is in the walkway and then getting to my room. The handle on the outside of the door was broken so I had to figure out and jiggle it to get it to work with the key Room was OK but you could tell no one put any effort and truly making it clean and sanitize for the next guest. I truly did not feel safe there the attendant that was assisting me when I called back that night to discuss about the broken door knob seem to not care, very rude, and then try to turn around and call me rude very unprofessional would not give me his name I will never ever spend not even a rusty old penny I find in the streets there I would not suggest this hotel to anybody unless you are really down on your last look but be careful then I don’t feel like that even on this person , should lay or stay in a place like this. Hands-down this was the worst place I could have ever been in
