I have stayed at a lot of country inn and suites and this was by far the worst. The room itself was large and clean. The beds were well kept and clean, which was great. However, the pressure in the shower was non existent. I couldn’t even wash my hair for fear of not being able to get the conditioner out. When I say bad it was bad. Comparing it to going camping and someone holding a bottle of water over your head so you can rinse off. There were a lot of cracks and broken tiles, and the toilet seat slide back and forth because it’s so loose. We were on the third floor and not sure who was above us but must have been someone with kids or toddlers because it sounded like a heard of elephants running around for hour. I finally called the front desk to complain about it. She was apologetic and she said she would speak with them personally. Whether she did or not, I’m not sure because it never stopped. The children must have finally went to bed around midnight but it started back up again around 6am. Also the area the hotel is in was pretty shady, to say the least and maybe that’s why it wasn’t up to the “normal” Country Inn and Suits standards. The check in personal and staff we encountered were very nice and friendly. Oh and there are 4 floors with only 1 elevator, so be prepared to wait. It didn’t bother us because we take the stairs except during check in and out when we have all of our luggage. However, there is an odd musty smell in the elevator and hallways. When paying $180 a night, I expected better accommodations.

May 18, 2025 · Savana CollinsI’ve stayed here several times while in Greensboro and this is my go to spot. It’s not the Four Seasons , but for what you pay the rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. I have allergies so I have to be pretty careful where I stay at but this place, on top of being affordable, does the trick for me. Staff is very friendly too and has always tried to help me out whenever I needed anything. Will definitely be back.
Jun 09, 2025 · Andrew CawthonI stayed 5/25/25 and was very pleased with the Country Inn & Suites. Check in was very quick and easy. The room was ready and clean. Quiet at night, and I appreciate the 12 o'clock check out time. Check out was also easy. My room deposit was back in my account by the end of the day.
May 26, 2025 · Wayne HandyLove my stay here I really enjoyed the hospitality and kindness up until April 26th. The women whom work the weekends are extremely rude and argumentative. I’d say it just the one who said to be the managed on the weekend. Here attitude was distasteful!!! I’ve been staying here about 3 weeks. I tip and I greet everyone. I clean my own room each day I lived my housekeeper during the week I wish I could remember her name we had a good routine going. I’ve even helped on vacuuming the hall because I myself have been one before a just having hospitality I know things been busy. Here today I’m to check out today an right at 12 my items are being thrown in trash bags with me arriving at 12:08! To then receive criticism because of it. I was accused of stealing a room because it’s “crackheads” in the area she stated. I was very offended and I actually enjoy the hotel. I was treated less than today when I’ve been generous and genuine kind during my stay. There is emails etc.. on file as well as I was being removed right at 12 was wonder where the common curtesy was. I’ve not had any problem with paying so to have my things thrown out in trash bags my personal belongings. It the was chips thrown smash as well in the item and on the floor in room. I’m very clean so to experience something like that was hurtful. An then to be approached with disrespect I was indeed taken back. I would love to continue to stay with you all but whomever is at the front desk attendant Saturday was extremely disturbing and treated very poorly. I would like to thank those whom I have been in contact with an hope to return soon for you all were sold out I was not able to extend my stay again for I’m in the process of moving here to Greensboro it’s been a big help with transformation.
Apr 26, 2025 · Rhonda WilliamsThe rooms were clean. That's th bare minimum expectation for ANY hotel. At $180+/night, I expect a lot more than that. Upon arriving, the entry way was littered and the landscaping not just enkept, but also neglected. After checking in, my son said the weird smell in the lobby reminded him of a fart being covered up with off-brand Lysol. I agreed. This is a 4-story hotel and it only had 1 elevator. It had moving blankets hanging from its walls and the tiles on its floor were broken. I guess I should thank my lucky stars, because this rickety elevator never fell to the basement, but Man, was it's integrity questionable! It wobbled and shuddered every ride. Getting out of the elevator and walking down the hallway, you could see carpet that was installed by the lowest bidder. When we entered our room, I saw the latch plate was coming apart and only had 1 screw holding it together. Fortunately, no one got locked in or out. Stepping inside, there was another strange, stale odor; kind of like mildew caused by not running the A/C. All the surfaces were cheap and water damaged. Just an ugly presentation for a room at this price. The room was clean, and so was the bedding. Minimum expectations achieved. The bathroom door would not latch, regardless of effort to close it. If you like to hang things up like towels, bathrobes, travel cases, etc, don't bother. There are zero hooks or towel bars available. If you like toilet seats that are missing the hardware that keeps it in place, this is your hotel! Again, the room was clean, but for $180+ a night, I just can't recommend this place. I'm not saying it was expensive. I'm saying once you brak $120, this stuff should be non-existent. The worst part: when leaving the lobby, I could see the Drury Inn sign in the distance, mocking me for saving a few bucks.
