We had a wonderful stay at Central House. The house is beautiful and cozy. It has a great history. Julia is very warm and welcoming and Leslie is a terrific chef. We had an outstanding meal at the Inn restaurant, Universal Cafe and Bar. Must have the pineapple tequila cocktail. It also had a great vibe with a mix of locals and visitors.

Feb 04, 2024 · Rodrigo PadillaOne of those special, out of the way inns that make you feel at home. Just across the street is Otto’s for a hot breakfast (the Inn has coffee, fruit, yogurt, cheese, bread and granola) and Gaskins for an upscale meal (the Inn has a bar and some meals)!
Sep 29, 2024 · Will BrintonMy unplanned stay at The Central House could not have been more perfect. Martin, the owner, took me in on day one of my bicycle tour when I fell 20 miles short of my goal. He was accommodating and kind and made me a burger I will never forget. The house itself is gorgeous. Comfortable, and interesting. It is decorated beautifully and Martin is happy to share its history if you ask. The room was comfortable and provided a great night's sleep. Breakfast was laid out when I got up and again, was just what I needed. If you are anywhere near Georgetown and looking for a reasonably priced, great place to stay, I cannot recommend The Central House more. It is a great place to regenerate and prepare for the next day's adventure.
Aug 26, 2021 · Ken CrandallWonderful stay! Martin was an excellent host and able to accommodate my Mom and I for a last minute, one night stay before Easter. Very clean, beautifully decorated, and super comfy bed. Great spot for dinner directly across the street, and an excellent breakfast at the hotel. Appreciated the abundance of water. Love the area for antiquing and will definitely be back!
Apr 17, 2022 · Katie WolfeJust had an amazing one-night stay at the Central House Hotel Inn. Martin is so friendly and accommodating. I wasn't totally expecting to feel warmly welcomed as a queer couple, but Martin didn't skip a beat at the mention of my partner! He also provided vegan options for breakfast which pleasantly surprised my partner and me. Check-in was easy as can be and Martin had breakfast set up just a little early to accommodate our early departure. I can't say enough about what a personal, cozy, wonderful stay it was! I would 100% return and would recommend it to others.
