The bed was comfortable and room was clean. The air conditioner cooled well, but that room was very muggy. There were some uncovered holes in the bathroom wall And no powered bathroom vent. The shower curtain was hung too high and caused the water to splash out of the walk-in shower. Everything worked good, but just a few inconveniences. The service was good and the breakfast was great each morning. Overall, it was affordable (not luxury) and served as well.

Jun 16, 2025 · Nathan JanzenAbsolutely unacceptable experience. In the middle of the night, someone came to our door and tried to open it. Thankfully, we had the chain lock on, otherwise who knows what could’ve happened. This was extremely alarming and made us feel completely unsafe. Throughout the night, there was constant noise—clearly no enforcement of quiet hours or guest respect. The next morning, I reported the incident to the front desk and politely asked if they could check the ID badge history to see who attempted to access our room while we were sleeping. Instead of addressing my safety concern, the front desk staff member—who I believe was of Indian background—was dismissive, unprofessional, and even confrontational. Rather than trying to help, she responded with, “You can check out, and we’ll refund the night.” This is not the kind of response anyone should receive after a serious safety concern. I was shocked and disappointed by how lightly the situation was handled. It felt like my concerns were brushed off completely. I seriously considered taking legal action, but chose not to pursue it further. I will never stay at this hotel again, and I will actively warn others in my community not to either. Hospitality means safety and respect—not just a bed to sleep in. Sadly, this hotel failed on
Jun 07, 2025 · Lucas OkayThe location of this hotel is great. It's right off the main road of Gatlinburg near Ole Red, but the rooms were absolutely terrible. As active military, I never expect perfection. But this room was the worst. The floors were dirty like they didn't even attempt to vacuum. The sink was starting to lean down from the usage over the years. There was outlet face covers missing and trim pieces that were missing. The shower head was hanging out of the wall and their terrible maintenance guy just caulked the hole instead of installing it correctly. There was no door stop, so behind the bathroom door was a hole. Someone ripped out the towel rack and they didn't even attempt to replace it. There was also a old TV mount that was right next to the new TV mount. The price wasn't the cheapest nor the most expensive obviously, but I feel there was better options available, but I was tricked by the online photos. I was in room 316.so if anyone gets this room, I would request for another. It was all the way on the top floor in the back corner. I'm not sure if I was just unlucky or if the staff absolutely sucks at managing this location. I've been in older hotels that are cheaper and a lot nicer than this hotel.
May 05, 2025 · Cole NeeleyWe loved staying here. Location is great. Close to everything but far enough away where this isn't a lot of traffic noise. It also isn't super expensive and you won't have to spend extra on parking downtown since you can walk to everything. Rooms are clean and spacious and we didn't encounter any issues during our stay.
May 12, 2025 · Katie VaughanI was hesitant to book this hotel due to the negative reviews! I chose to give them my own chance. The room was clean. The location was perfect. The hot breakfast was awesome. We had 0 issues with our stay. The lady who sits at the front desk was so polite, and the ladies who made breakfast were also super polite. They also made sure all the breakfast was replenished before it ran out. This is why I always say to give a place a chance before reading reviews and passing judgement! Thank you Clarion Pointe Staff for making our girls trip to celebrate my daughters High School Graduation exactly what we wanted!
