Nice cabin with lots of room and very nice and clean. We have a couple recommendations for visitors/owner. There's so many TVs in the house but we have yet to be able go use any of them because the internet connection is so poor. Also wish there was a place to plug in phones on the night stand. There was no accessible wall plug in anywhere near my night stand.

While the property offers numerous enticing features, it's essential for potential guests to consider recent customer feedback. Some reviews indicate that while the interior amenities are plentiful and enjoyable, the surrounding area might be undergoing construction, which could impact the "mountain view" aspect for some and introduce noise during the day. Additionally, past guests have noted occasional issues with Wi-Fi connectivity and TV functionality, as well as the need to confirm trash service and ensure all desired amenities are fully operational upon arrival. However, the property management is generally reported as being very responsive to issues, striving to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. With its generous space, array of entertainment options, and prime location for accessing Gatlinburg's attractions, "Swimming in the Smokies" has the potential to provide a truly engaging and comfortable vacation, particularly for those who prioritize in-house amenities and open communication with the property manager.

Seasonal Sales: Property management companies frequently run sales for specific seasons. For example, "Fall Deals" or "Winter Specials" could offer a percentage off nightly rates. These often come with specific booking and stay windows.
Early Bird Specials: Booking your stay well in advance (e.g., 30+ days out) can sometimes secure a percentage discount, rewarding proactive planners.
Last-Minute Deals: Conversely, if the chalet has unexpected availability, you might find last-minute discounts closer to your desired arrival date, especially during slower periods.
Complimentary Attraction Tickets: Some property management companies (like Eden Crest, under which "Swimmin' in the Smokies" is listed) offer complimentary tickets to local attractions with each night of your stay. These "Xplorie" or "Fun Pass" type programs can add significant value, including tickets to Dollywood, dinner shows, or other popular activities.
Direct Booking Incentives: Sometimes, booking directly through the property manager's website can offer better rates or additional perks compared to third-party booking sites.

Jun 07, 2022 · Natalie WilliamsWe were very disappointed with the location of the cabin. The pictures, some of which have now been taken down, are misleading. This house does not have a view and certainly does not make you feel like you are in the mountains. We also were not told about the construction going on all around the “cabin”. Construction workers were 20 feet away from us for at least ten hours a day the entire time we were there. It was extremely loud and uncomfortable. We also had to call and ask for outside trash cans for three days until we finally received them. Animals got in our trash every night before the garbage cans were delivered. We woke up to a mess every morning. Additionally, the installation of satellite service to the house was scheduled while we were there on vacation. The satellite installer was at the cabin with us working for seven hours. Above is a picture of our “view”. We never got the “cabin in the mountains” feel here. It felt more like we were in a newly constructed apartment complex.
