I had to stay here three weeks for training. It’s not the easiest to get to. The first three days I drove right past the road the hotel entrance was on. Everything else is on the four lane but the hotel is on the two lane country road. Not really the hotels fault but there’s not anything to do in Mocksville. I basically got off work, got dinner from a drive thru and went back to the room. The hotel seems to smell like cigarettes to me. But not fresh smoked. More like the house of a smoker. You don’t get the smoke smell but everything has that lingering smoky smell. But it’s worse when I go in my room. It hits me like a wave. Even the pillows on the bed smell like smoke. The room was clean but I seemed to be at war with the housekeeping staff. I close the drapes all the way so no light peers in the room. Everyday when I arrived after work the drapes would be open. Sometimes slid to the left sometimes to the right or sometimes parted in the middle like a normal person would do it. I’d come in sit down my food and backpack and walk over to close the blinds. I also thought it weird to have a patio table right outside the front door. Not the most inviting thing to have 5 Russians sitting at the table drinking beer and vodka literally at the entrance to the hotel.

May 06, 2025 · RJ JCame by here last weekend and was greeted by a lovely ethnic boy Nikhil behind the counter. He showed me and my children to our rooms and was a delight. We ran out of toilet paper and Nikhil was quick to restock us however the cleanliness of the motel was a slight downgrade as we found long hair in the drains but nonetheless would definitely recommend staying here for the friendly staff and atmosphere. 🕺🥳
