My wife and I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn and Suites (East) in Knoxville. I’m rather fond of Comfort Suites. And we’ve stayed at this one previously. Our room was clean and comfortable. My wife was suffering with bronchitis and hadn’t slept well in a couple of days. But she found the beds quite comfortable and slept well. The hot breakfast was satisfying and the attendant was quick to replenish food and coffee. Overall this property is rather dated but it’s clean and comfortable. And the rate is reasonable The desk staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. We’ll stay here again.

Apr 02, 2025 · Mark RollinsonJust went in to confirm my reservations for my group and Chris was simply AMAZING!! He greeted me with a smile and was super professional. I made an error and he and the manager fixed it with no hesitation. I can’t wait to stay there with my family this weekend. Thank you Chris for lighting my load of graduation stress. Btw I haven’t slept here yet but in 2 days I will so I can’t rate the rooms yet. Hotel looks very new so I don’t expect less than 5 stars.
May 14, 2025 · Katrina ChesneyWonderful experience all around. We needed an early check-in because my husband and I were coming in super early and they accommodated us no problem (call before booking just in case though). Breakfast was just right, staff were incredibly friendly, and though our room's AC wasn't working properly they got us a portable fan and brought it up to us incredibly fast. I barely had time to put the room phone down before someone was there with the fan in hand!
Jan 27, 2025 · Sydney PonkoStayed in 218. It was a really nice room. But housekeeping had not restocked the shampoo or conditioner and there was no toilet paper. I carry my own soaps so no issue on that but it's very inconvenient to notice TP missing when you've already done your business. Someone had a yappy dog on the 2nd floor which was kind of annoying. Breakfast was decent. Staff was friendly. In walking distance to a Burger King, Wiegels and a Pilot. Overall better than most 2 star hotels. Would stay again.
Apr 29, 2025 · Shawn SimpsonI can't recommend it because the room was musty, had a mildewy smell, and seriously I felt that in my lungs overnight and very definitely the next morning on my hike. It felt like mold spores had settled in my lungs, hopefully not stachybotris - but I have my strong suspicion that it was. AKA deadly black mold. This hotel needs to be tested PRONTO, for the benefit of the health of their guests. There was no way to open the window either.. It's always a gamble but right now its 8pm the next night and my lungs are so sore and coughing up alot of congestion. I know mold when I experience it because I am highly allergic to molds of all kind. God Bless
