This detail is important for guests who specifically use the Starbucks app or expect a full Starbucks experience. Customer reviews for Courtyard Philadelphia Montgomeryville offer a mixed but generally positive perspective. Many guests consistently praise the hotel's cleanliness, well-maintained grounds, and the friendly, helpful staff, particularly at the front desk. The comfortable beds and overall room quality are often highlighted. However, some common themes of criticism emerge. One significant point of feedback revolves around the hotel's cash policy; some guests have found it unusual that the front desk does not handle cash, even for small changes, directing them to nearby banks. Another recurring comment pertains to the "Starbucks" offering at The Bistro. While the hotel advertises Starbucks coffee, guests note that it is not a full Starbucks outlet, meaning the Starbucks app cannot be used and the experience differs from a standalone Starbucks location. The early closing hours of The Bistro's breakfast service (e.g., 9:30 AM) have also been a point of contention for some vacationers. Furthermore, one particularly negative review highlighted a significant customer service issue involving a credit card machine outage, where guests were left waiting in uncomfortable conditions rather than being allowed to access their rooms, demonstrating a rigid adherence to policy over immediate customer comfort and hospitality. This suggests that while overall staff friendliness is noted, strict policy enforcement can sometimes overshadow guest experience. Despite these specific criticisms, the hotel generally maintains a good reputation for its clean environment and functional amenities, making it a reliable option for those searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in the North Wales area, especially for travelers comfortable with cashless transactions and understanding the nature of the on-site dining services.

May 10, 2025 · vipergtsMy husband and I booked this hotel for a trip home to visit family. We arrived during a rain storm. We arrived being completely soaking wet from the torrential rain storm. We have traveled 6+ hours to be here. When we arrived to the front desk we were told we cannot go to our room because the credit card machines are down and they need to swipe our credit card before we can get our room. Instead of being in the business hospitality , they would rather follow policy and forgo customer experience.Worst customer service as I'm sitting in the lounge still soaking wet from being in a rain storm while the manager is on the phone.
May 16, 2025 · Lauren ParisiShower drain was not functioning. A/C not operating. Opened window, was noisy but solved the problem. To be clear, breakfast must be purchased when you book the room. Coffee in the room. You have to pay $12 to park in a regular parking lot with zero security, with a restaurant attached (delicious, see next entry).
Apr 20, 2025 · nanci brillantVery clean, warm, and inviting, and there is a Starbucks in the lobby. I was there in January, and the room was warm, and the parking lot was free of snow and sidewalks, properly salted and safe. The front desk area was fully staffed, making check in a breeze.
Jan 31, 2025 · Brett ForsytheThe hotel itself was fine with clean spacious rooms, good location and check in was easy. My problem with the hotel was that we traveled by car 9 hours and left a blanket behind. Queen size throw blanket that my daughter was using in the long car ride. I called the hotel the next morning since we were still in Philly and asked if Housekeeping had found it. Without even pausing to check, the Desk Agent Natasha said there was nothing in lost and found. As if lost and found was next to her feet (which I’m sure it wasn’t). I asked if she could check with housekeeping. She said (without putting me on hold to check) there’s nothing there. So I replied “Housekeeping stole it?” And she said “Probably”. I asked for the hotel managers name and at first she didn’t want to give it and gave her name as the front desk agent and I asked again for the hotel managers name. It was Alex. Then she took my number and description of blanket. Didn’t ask my name. Or room number. I told her we drove by car and we don’t have the blanket so it’s not a mistake. We left it in the room. I think what happened is the blanket is white, the bed sheets were white, and Housekeeping bundled it all up and put it in the laundry. Someone in house keeping would find it when they do the laundry. Since it was 24 hours since we had checked out, maybe laundry for my room hasn’t been done yet. But a Marriott branded hotel should do better. At least pretend to do better. And at the very least, don’t admit your housekeeping staff are thieves.
