Great pick!!! Very clean, excellent location to all tourist locations from the street and had immediate access to Riverwalk. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We parked about a block away for $10 a night but it wasn’t bad at all! Very close. We just dropped off our luggage at the front then parked the car. We will definitely stay here again!
Howdy, fellow Texans! When you're planning a visit to the historic and vibrant city of San Antonio, the location of your accommodation can truly make or break your trip. Accessibility from this spot is one of its strongest selling points. Gonzalez Convention Center are also just a short stroll away, making it incredibly convenient for both leisure and business travelers attending events.
For those traveling by car, while the hotel does offer valet parking (for a fee, which a reviewer noted was around $50 a night), there are often more economical public parking garages available nearby. As one satisfied guest mentioned, they "parked about a block away for $10 a night," finding it "not bad at all! Very close." This flexibility with parking options is a definite plus for Texans driving into the city. Mar 20, 2025 · Laura LawrenceOverall the location, room and view were great! The cafe located in the hotel was warmly staffed and friendly. The elevators are extremely loud and can be heard from guest rooms, so that was off putting. Thankfully we had white noise for night time and were out and about during the day. We unfortunately had two negative interactions with the front desk host Kayla where hospitality was severely lacking, and it seemed we were more of an annoyance or burden then welcomed guests. Our first interaction at the hotel was not warm or welcoming so I feel that overall guest experience could be improved upon. All of the other support staff we kind and friendly though.
Mar 26, 2025 · Amanda HillhouseHonestly, this is not fair because the hotel stay was lovely...but the bartender at Bistro was super rude. We didn't know they closed at 10. We just wanted to get a glass of wine in the way to our room. Not only was he ride but he also talked shit about us to other patrons in front of us. He was loudly and clearly offended that he was expected to work the last few minutes of his shift. We literally asked him to pour two glasses of wine. He spent more of those minites arguing that he couldn't believe we would order wine 4inuyes before he was off. He could have just poured the wine. He continues to talk about us in front of other customers..and they were still open ..and it took seconds for him to put 2 glasses. The spot was full of people. So he took the time to talk crap about us to other patrons...Tok the time to be furious that he was expected to work before they closed...took the time to talk shit about us to the people who ordered literally right before us..and took the time to ruin our trip here. We won't stay here again...and we had no problems before this moment. One person can ruin the reputation of a whole place.
Jun 10, 2025 · Kerry MeadeWonderful hotel located right on the Riverwalk. We had a nice balcony view. They have a Bistro on site that offers breakfast and Starbucks in the morning, food and drinks in the evening 😋 Onsite pool, fitness room and business center.
Mar 23, 2025 · William GarnesThe horrible woman working the front desk was rude, sarcastic, extremely difficult to communicate with and overall on a power trip. It seemed like she wanted to turn us away. I had reserved my room with Expedia but my card was giving me trouble despite having plenty of money in My account. While we were trying to transfer the money to another card she canceled our reservation and would not let us stay. I would absolutely never tell anyone to stay here ever unless you want rude treatment and to gamble with your time and money. Thankfully we found a better room for less within walking distance from the riverwalk.
