Jun 03, 2025 · Kylie NMany of the reviews speak of the great breakfast and great views and comfortable beds, all of which I agree. However, the beds are actually 68" wide, which is 8" narrower than King. When calling the front desk to let them know we paid for and reserved a "king bed," they looked up our room number and insisted that it was a king. By any American standard, 68" is NOT a king (76"). The rooms are plenty large, perhaps because there are no nightstands or chest of drawers. If you are staying for a week or more, plan to live out of your suitcase. Beside the bed, there are little shelves in place of a small nightstand. Although the rooms have a minimalist vibe, there is a nice little desk and comfy chair and footstool, and the little sink/microwave/refrigerator area was much appreciated. We very much enjoyed our stay, the breakfast staff, and the proximity to all the Viva Fiesta festivities. The price point at the Element was very fair, but visitors should be aware of the sacrifices that come with the pricing. ( The photo attached is the view from the 11th floor, 4/27/2025)
May 04, 2025 · Stock LingI was bragging about how nice this hotel was…but they did something I can not forget and I feel you all should know about it. A few weeks ago I stayed at this hotel for business and I used their valet service…now keep in mind the valet is 50 dollars a day and you have to pay the hotel…I had them valet the car and I did not move the car until it was time for me to check out which was 3 days later. Well after I drove a few hours away I notice that my firearm in my car was missing. I called the hotel and they stated that it was not their responsibility and I should contact the valet company which is a third party company. After waiting over a week they finally contacted me and gave me a refund on my valet fee but did not accept a claim on my missing firearm. They looked at the cameras and saw there were 3 valet members that handled my car. One member stated he saw the firearm but took the car anyway…..the other 2 claim they did not see it. THE POINT I AM GETTING AT IS THE VALET PEOPLE STOLE MY FIREARM AND THEY ARE NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT….they don’t park the cars in front of the hotel…they park them at some place far away where there are no cameras. And last when they brought my car at checkout it took them 30 minutes. Now what is the point of paying all that money to use valet if they are going to steal your items and not take ownership of the issue. I think you all should be aware of how the hotel doesn’t take ownership and how the valet company doesn’t either. So because of this I can’t do business with them again
May 23, 2025 · Alpha 7This hotel is an absolute gem in the heart of downtown, surrounded by the vibrant energy of the Riverwalk, carriage rides, and breathtaking "lighting of the cathedral" views. From the moment you arrive, everything you need is at your fingertips. Start your day with a freshly made breakfast featuring an incredible selection of coffee, tea, juices, delicious hotcakes, and French toast sandwiches. As the sun sets, head to the rooftop bar for an unforgettable happy hour with stunning skyline views. The room is simply spectacular, spacious, and natural sunlight. Offering blackout shades for the night's rest. A stay here is an experience you’ll never forget!
Mar 05, 2025 · KAY DREWA Grateful Change of Heart I originally felt frustrated after we accidentally left my wife’s purse behind at the hotel. We live two hours away, and for a while, no one was answering the phone, which only added to our stress. At the time, I was ready to leave a negative review out of concern and disappointment. However, I’m glad to say things turned around in the best way. Once we were able to get in touch, the staff was helpful, professional, and reassuring. They not only located the purse but made sure everything inside was intact and safely returned to us. Their honesty and follow-through really changed my perspective. It’s easy to judge in the moment when things aren’t going smoothly, but it’s just as important to give credit when it’s due. I appreciate their efforts and integrity, and I’m happy to update my review to reflect that. Thank you again for taking care of us!.
