May 19, 2025 · Let's Go LorenzoUpon checking in, I asked if there were any upgrades available (Titanium Elite members get upgrades when checking in if they are available). I was told there was, and was given a very small room next to one of the loudest elevators on the planet. After not sleeping the first night, we asked to be moved. They accommodated our request saying upgrades at this hotel only mean the top two floors, and not the size, location, or quality of the room. The walls are so thin, you can hear when someone sits down in the adjacent room, unzips their suitcase, uses the bathroom, and even talks on their phone. One of the two elevators broke down and they placed notification on the first floor only, not on the room floors. I unknowingly waited for the elevator for over ten minutes before taking the stairs. There were two unmarked staircases, and choose wisely as the right stairs take you to the first floor, but only to locked doors for food prep and cleaning. So back up you go, to choose door number one. When talking to the staff, they were friendly, but not helpful with various requests. If you are looking for a quiet place to sleep after exploring DC, find somewhere else.
Apr 12, 2025 · Christopher MulsonThe hotel has valet parking but there is also a general parking VERY CLOSE to the hotel which also the hotel can give you pass for. On day 1, we asked about the general and the front desk upfront lied to us, telling us the general is very far. She also refused to give us the address. Valet did the exact same thing. The next day, we asked the next person from the front desk who gave us a pass, the address and was professional. Seems like the front desk was lobbying with the valet. The rooms don’t look like the photos on Expedia. They are very small and bare. Generally, poor experience.
May 26, 2025 · kimia yazdaniI'm not a fan of this hotel. The "upgraded" room is still really small, there's no complimentary breakfast, even for elite members, and the lounge/cafe/bar area was closed at 8pm on a Saturday. Not only that, but minimum expectations like a properly draining sink and lights that don't flicker were not met. I booked this last minute, for a conference, at peak cherry blossom time of year, but I wouldn't do it again. I'd just spend a little more or stay at a Hilton.
Mar 31, 2025 · Dr. Gerome Q. BanksI stayed 2/21-2/23/25 and my front desk experience was very pleasant checking in & out. Going to the elevator was when I first noticed how tight the space was I had to navigate to get on. Once I arrived to my room I was met with a room without a dresser or closet space (which I’m used to unpacking every trip opposed to living out of a suitcase). As the evening approached I needed ice for my room & when I called to find out where the ice machine was I was told that I had to come down to the front desk where one of the attendants went to the restaurant to get it (I thought was weird). Upon checking out I found the valet guy to be profiling my wife and I as he refused to open the doors to our vehicle so one of us could load up while the other one of us paid as if this location isn’t DUPONT CIRCLE.
