The curtain does not block out any light and it wakes you up. It couldn’t even block out the lights on the buildings at night. The room is nice, clean and modern, but there’s no mini fridge for your leftover Astoria or microwave to heat it up. The location is great. The service at the restaurant downstairs is very good. Good free drinks at 5 pm sometimes.

BEWARE OF THE SCAMMERS!!!!! I hate to leave a bad review for the hotel but you are a reflection of whom you hire Had a wonderful experience with my wife during our stay. The hotel had a perfect aesthetic to it followed up with fantastic restaurant and bar attached to the hotel. The staff were friendly and courteous. Our room was very clean and spacious. We love every moment and it was truly a good pre birthday present. So you could only imagine the surprise I felt when I received a notification from my bank that there was a fraudulent transaction detected. There were multiple fraudulent charges to my credit card from the "valet parking" provided by the hotel that I paid for which was the outrageous price of $55 a night but I obliged. The only time I used this credit card was at the hotel for parking for exactly one night. This was not my primary card so I know for a fact it's an associate of the hotel. This person charged over $900 paying phone, utility and Amazon accounts. Whomever is charging hard working people's credit cards to pay off their bills is a low life individual that will never get anywhere in life. I pray that justice is served and no one else has to encounter what I had to during my vacation.

My mom and I took a weekend girls trip and stayed here, and we loved it. I always joke about my mom being a “hotel snob”, but she had zero complaints. The woman at the front desk in the afternoon on June 13 (I wish I caught her name) to June 15 was excellent. Very kind, personable, and hospitable! Overall, this hotel was very clean, quiet, and a short walk away from the metro. I loved it, and so did my mom, who apparently has higher expectations than I do, lol

I enjoyed my 3 nights here (booked through Booking.com and it was way cheaper than booking direct). Rooms were HUGE even when shared with another person. Modern updated, minimalistic, and CLEAN! Cute little gym, water (still and sparkling) on tap outside each elevator, and free welcome drink every evening. Sara and Marissa were a pleasure! Great customer service! I also had an Amazon package delivered here no problem. Was also to leave my bags early in the morning before checkin. WiFi was reliable as well!

Our family spent a recent weekend in DC and we stayed at this hotel. Great location and street parking is very easy. The hotel is a converted apt complex and has minimal staff on hand. The issue we had with our room is that the guest in the room below us was visibly smoking on the balcony despite it being a non smoking property. The pot smoke infiltrated our room despite us having curtains and doors tightly shut. It was addressed multiple times with the person at the front desk, which more or less fell on deaf ears because nothing was done to remedy the situation. It’s clear there is no hands on management or oversight in the hotel.
