My company books these rooms for us. We don’t get nightly credit but I maintain platinum status personally as my family and I travel quite a bit and always stay at Marriotts. This location refuses to grant M Lounge access because I’m on a “corporate reservation!” Extremely poor treatment of some of your most loyal customers! The Marriott Bonvoy program continues its slow circle of the drain. Would not recommend anyone stay here if your company name appears on a reservation. In response to the response. Please to patronize me. I understand how the program works and that we do not get points or stay credit for the nights. I maintain my platinum stats on my own accord, outside of company travel. Literally all I would like is my status recognized by means of access so to the lounge so I can make a half decent cup of coffee in the morning and maybe enjoy some eggs and fruit. But clearly the $90 investment in me ($3 cost per breakfast x 30 visits a year) isn’t worth my $15k-$20k in you. So again, it’s the slow drain of the Bonvoy program, diluting it to the point where you may as well throw a big blue H on it.

Apr 29, 2025 · John ClintonExcellent location. Nice refurbish of the interior. Outstanding gym especially for a hotel including a rower. Also appreciated the M Club and space with good coffee and water accessible 24 hours. Rooms were standard but clean. We were fortunate they were able to accommodate our family with connecting rooms. Recommended with enthusiasm.
May 28, 2025 · Robert SawyerMy mom and I checked in today for what will be a three-night visit, and as long-time Marriott Bonvoy members with over ten years of stays, we naturally chose Marriott Georgetown. The front desk team was friendly, helpful, and even got us into our room early — a gesture we truly appreciated. However, what was advertised at the front desk as an “upgrade” to the business wing felt more like a downgrade. The business wing is only accessible by a single elevator serving two floors. The hallway was dimly lit, and our view looked out onto a small terrace scattered with artificial rocks, with a taller building looming beyond, creating an unexpectedly claustrophobic atmosphere. It felt like we were being handed a less desirable room under the guise of a benefit — not the level of service we expect from Marriott. If you’re offered the business wing, we recommend politely declining and asking for a standard guest room instead. At this price point, you’re better off at a nearby Hyatt or Hilton, where you’re likely to get a room that actually feels like an upgrade.
Jun 13, 2025 · Paula Cid OrnelasBeware of bed bugs!!!! Very disappointing experience. Rooms were not very nice and didn’t look like picture. We are Platinum status and they didn’t offer us any upgraded room even though you could see on the Marriott app there were many different upgraded room types available. Get home to realize we got bed bugs from our stay. I expected better for a Marriott
Jun 16, 2025 · P CI often stay here for business trips. Rooms are hit and miss but anything high overlooking M street is a decent room. Bar staff have been there for years and provide good, friendly service. Best feature by far is its location, especially if you enjoy morning walks...close to DuPont Circle, Wisconsin Georgetown and even the Lincoln Memorial. Plenty to see and enjoy along your stroll. Or perhaps a brisk evening walk for dinner at #ChefGeoff, #Ris or #Clyde's in proper Georgetown. Bon Appetit!!
