To the management team, please upgrade these hotel rooms, especially on the first floor but overall. There is a false sense of what you’re getting with photos. The room I checked into, but didn’t stay in, was dirty all over the walls, fingerprints and dirt on the back of the guest room door. The bathroom vent was falling off the ceiling, the bathtub was cracked and stained and in disrepair. The room felt unsafe based on location at the property but also because it felt very “easy” to get into with locks on doors not feeling secure. The second room I was shown was better but still not a great quality, at least it was cleaner looking. When I went back to the desk to tell the staff associate I was not going to stay, it was as if he already knew what I was going to do because he was prepared to show me a new room immediately, red flag. I let them know I would be doing a review out of good conscience for others and, as nice as he was, he begged me not to, which also gave me a sense of uncomfortableness. I ended up not even staying at this location because of how uncomfortable I felt and booked a hotel 35 miles away (only due to low occupancy in the area). I have never left a hotel due to these circumstances.

Please reconsider another hotel. I was here for a program and walked into what smelled like someone smoked a cigarette. Bathtub flooring was dirty and all the outlets did not work or they are super loose that you won’t get a current flowing. This building needs to be demolished or have the health department look into it because also reading all the other reviews, they’re all true to what they say. I would recommend driving a bit more towards Youngstown if you want a hotel to stay in that cares for their rooms.

This hotel was horrible! The room we had a hole in the wall. We had no other choice but to stay here. We actually called 15 other hotels - all booked!!!We made a trip to Walmart to buy a air mattress, sheets, pillows, and blankets. I did not trust, the bedding was clean. We stripped the bed, and didn't find any bugs. But the room had a nasty smell to it. We also found a dead grasshopper on the floor. The breakfast was a joke. They had some very old cornflakes, and I don't even know what else! We chose to leave and get breakfast elsewhere!

The rooms we booked were absolutely disgusting. And when we went to the desk no one helped us told us that housekeeping would be by tomorrow. Mind you we were only staying one day. The breakfast was a joke cereal and no milk. The other options were a plain bagel or a muffin that was a little bigger than a mini muffin. There was stains exposed wires and non functional smoke detectors. Do not stay here unless you want to wear a hazmat suit

First, when I walked in, a guy was just staring at me behind the desk with fifty hands and didn’t speak until about 2-3 minutes later, but only after I told him I wanted to check in. He left to do what he claimed was wash his hands. Once I got to the room, I noticed it didn’t have a smoke detector, the remote was missing, and my ice bucket had what I assumed was mold in it. On another note, the outside looks okay until you walk around. I was just walking outside on the phone and noticed a lot of rooms with the windows wide open, and the rooms looked like storage, which would be fine, but why not close the curtains? Also, the floor/carpet outside is lifted or just missing in some parts; there were even pieces of metal and plastic all about. I forgot to mention that they claim to have breakfast from 6 am to 9 am online, stating there are hot and cold options, milk, juices, and fruit. I went around 6:20 am, and nothing was out—no juice in the machine—and there was a person with no socks on sleeping on the couch in the lobby for anyone to see. When I asked about breakfast, the response was, “We don’t have.” Yes, I have pictures of everything I’ve mentioned, and I can’t get a refund or anything. Overall, it’s very disappointing, and I understand it’s a Days Inn, but I have stayed at other Days Inns, and this may be the worst one.
