We really enjoyed our room, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet. The location was also pretty close to a lot things. My only issue, was that we kept running out of toilet paper and soap and we had to pick it up from the front desk. It would have been better if housekeeping would have come through more often during our 5 day stay.

Aug 03, 2025 · April HopperWe chose this motel mostly due to its location and proximity to family. We also had some other family that had booked here prior to our booking. The location was great for what we needed and very near to any needed last-minute items, as well as eating places and stores. The motel itself is dated, but well-kept and clean. Even with a late evening arrival we were welcomed at the front desk with kindness and appreciation. While the motel does have a pool, it was a bit chilly but bearable for most. I do wish there had been a hot tub to warm up in or at least a room available with a whirlpool, but no such luck. For the price it was a decent place. The breakfast was mostly continental except for the hot waffle machine, which to me, does not constitute a hot breakfast. The coffee was good though and the muffins were fresh. As a Wyndam rewards member, I was a little surprised to find that it would take 15, 000 points to get a free night there. I have stayed at more modern Wyndam hotels with better accommodations and a hot breakfast for less points than that. I guess it depends on locations. For this stay, I chose to use my military/veterans discount and save my points. All in all, we would probably stay here again, under the same circumstances, with family and friends being there. They were very accommodating in letting us gather in the pool area and gave us some extra time before allowing us to move out to the breakfast area to continue socializing and catching up with one another.
Jul 28, 2025 · Richard DeweyThat hotel itself is pretty nice. It's clean and well kept. The room was ok for just me. The staff was friendly. The only reason i didn't give it a 5 star is because the WIFI wasn't very good and i think they need some sort of furniture like an arm chair and footstool in the room to relax in so you don't have to sit in the bed all the time.
Apr 14, 2025 · Brian TravisWe checked in around 11 PM after a 12-hour drive from Mackinaw City to rest before continuing our journey. The front desk staff (possibly named Joy) manually entered my credit card details and said everything was fine. At 2:45 AM, we were abruptly woken by a call saying the card didn’t go through — but when I went downstairs and swiped the same card, it worked perfectly. The error was clearly hers, but she was rude, unapologetic, and tried to cover it up instead of acknowledging the mistake. The disturbance ruined the little rest we hoped to get — especially frustrating with infants in the room. The room itself was fine, but the customer service was unacceptable. Not the experience we expected at all.
Jun 11, 2025 · ashok kumarWe arrived at the time we had an email confirming our 2:00 check-in time. Our room wasn’t ready because they had a shortage of housekeepers. The desk woman was very rude. We had to leave to go to our grandson’s wedding is why we needed to check in right then. She didn’t offer a different room that was clean, it was their fault but she said we would have to wait an hour. We had to leave for the wedding and didn’t go back to stay. They wouldn’t give us our money back. I won’t stay where they are rude. I called back another day and the same woman answered the phone and told me she was the one there that day. Still rude! Unbelievable! Won’t ever go back.
