The good: There was a very large refrigerator in our room. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the sleeping and kitchen space were overall clean. The bad: The bathtub was straight up yellow. Little details were grubby, like when you turned on the lamp there were stains all over the shade part, and the office chair had stains. Around 2am the people above us woke us up because they were running around in their room. We had kids and I felt absolutely awful during the times they were crying because the walls are so thin. While checking in, the person asked if I paid and I said yes. After leaving, I found out that she did in fact charge my card. I was thinking it was a deposit that I’d get back in a day or two. When I called the front desk they got SKETCHY. They said call customer service. They said they’d text my number the customer service number. When I asked if they had my number they ignored my question and said call customer service. When I got ahold of customer service the first person literally directed me to an automated helper.. I hung up and called again. The second person was SO helpful, but when he called the front desk to ask what was up they told him that they wanted me to call them. I replied with, “ I did, they told me to call you.” He got back on the phone with them and got me a refund. My point, check your bank account before you leave, they seemed sketchy and unwilling to help when I told them there was an issue.
For individuals seeking "Hotels Near Of Me" with an emphasis on affordability and essential amenities, the Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sellersburg presents a relevant option. Located at 363 Triangle Dr, Sellersburg, IN 47172, USA, with phone numbers (812) 748-8295 and +1 812-748-8295, this hotel caters to travelers who prioritize value and convenience, especially those visiting the Sellersburg area or just a short drive from Louisville, Kentucky.
The Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sellersburg has undergone "major great renovations," according to recent guest reviews, which have significantly improved its interior. While the overall impression leans towards practicality rather than luxury, the renovations have made the rooms feel "clean" and "comfortable." The property aims to provide a straightforward and functional environment for guests. It's a non-smoking property, contributing to a fresher atmosphere within the hotel. Guests often appreciate the spaciousness of the rooms, particularly for the price point.
However, it's worth noting some "little details were grubby," such as stains on lamp shades and office chairs, and that the "bathtub was straight up yellow" in some instances. These observations suggest that while major renovations have occurred, consistency in minor aesthetic details might vary. The hotel's construction may also lead to "thin walls," as some guests reported noise disturbances from adjacent rooms, which is a factor for light sleepers.
The Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sellersburg provides a core set of services designed to meet basic traveler needs. A standout positive is the complimentary breakfast, described as "on-the-go" but often appreciated for getting the day started. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, which is crucial for both leisure and business travelers. Guests have generally found the beds to be "clean and comfortable," contributing to a good night's sleep. The staff, when helpful, are described as "super polite and friendly" and making guests "feel welcome."
However, a significant area for improvement in service, as highlighted by a customer review, pertains to billing issues and front desk responsiveness. A reported incident of an unauthorized charge and a "sketchy" and "unwilling to help" initial response from the front desk indicates a potential inconsistency in customer service. While the issue was eventually resolved with intervention from Wyndham's customer service, it underscores the importance of verifying charges and being persistent if issues arise. This suggests that while individual staff members can be excellent, the hotel's internal processes for handling disputes may need refinement.
Other general services include a 24-hour front desk, ensuring that guests can check in or receive assistance at any time. The hotel is pet-friendly, allowing pets on request (with a fee), which is a valuable service for travelers with animals. Free self-parking is available, including space for RVs, buses, and trucks, adding to the convenience. Laundry facilities are also available for guests.
The features at Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sellersburg emphasize practicality, particularly for guests on longer stays or those who prefer in-room dining capabilities:
While an indoor pool or fitness center is not consistently listed as a feature for this specific Days Inn & Suites, the focus is clearly on practical in-room amenities and value-added services like breakfast and parking.
For those searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" with an eye on budget and accessibility, the Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sellersburg offers a competitive proposition. Its location at 363 Triangle Dr, Sellersburg, IN, places it conveniently off I-65, providing easy access to major roadways and destinations in both Sellersburg and Louisville.
In summary, the Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sellersburg, while having some minor inconsistencies in specific aesthetic details and customer service handling, generally offers a practical and comfortable stay following its renovations. Its strength lies in its value, convenient location, and amenities like large in-room refrigerators, making it a viable choice for travelers prioritizing affordability and accessibility when searching for "Hotels Near Of Me" in the Sellersburg/Louisville area.

May 09, 2025 · Jenni SchultzOne of best places to stay overnight everytime I visit family in the area. The rooms are clean, comfortable beds and the staff makes you feel welcome. Great location next to a Cracker Barrel. The price is reasonable. They have completed major great renovations. My experience was overall great!

Jan 27, 2025 · Brenda WeishaarNice room. Clean. Pet friendly. Light breakfast was just ok nothing special. Had problem with very loud bass music from room above us but I called the front desk and was told they would take care of it. About 30 minutes later the pounding music stopped.
