First off, breakfast is not included, especially if you pay with a discount like AAA. It's about an extra 15 a person a day and they told us we could have bought breakfast vouchers when booking but no option popped up for us since we used a discount. Might be cheaper to not use discounts if that's the case. Breakfast was a wide variety, especially if you upgraded to the hot foods option. In general it was a better breakfast than most and we appreciated the variety of fruits. Downsides were milk 2 days past best by date that we didn't realize until we drank it, and cream filled pastries still half frozen. Beds were very comfortable though smelled like bleach, which isn't necessarily a completely bad thing. The pool was nice and warm and visible from half the rooms with the inner courtyard. Rooms were not very soundproof and people coming in from an event did wake us up talking in the hallways. Bathroom lotions and soaps smelled great but the toilet paper made a shreddy mess and could be upgraded. Ventilation in the bathroom was poor and it took awhile for steam to clear from the mirror after a shower, but the water was nice and hot. Decent hotel, just wish breakfast was clearer when booking.

May 18, 2025 · NY ExplorerDated hotel with a older design and rooms that look aged. Carpet not the cleanest but the location is very convenient to the airport with free shuttle service on demand. Good sized indoor pool. Interesting lobby design where the elevators are down a long corridor from the entrance. Nice sundries area with plenty of snack options. Ample outdoor parking that is free.
Apr 13, 2025 · AlanLet me start by saying I don't find any pleasure writing negative reviews. I wish to share my honest experience so that maybe Double Tree can get back to and live up to its company mission statement. I am a member, while booking my nights stay was offered a $20.00 discount reward on my nights stay. A rewards discount isn't given as a gift but rather you earn it by spending money at Double Tree location when you book rooms as a thank you for being a valued loyal customer. Not so fast. My wife and I woke up early for breakfast. When entering the breakfast, salon was met with resistance. We were told we needed breakfast coupons. So we walked to the check-in counter and asked the clerk for breakfast coupons. She looked up our room number and said we can't have a breakfast coupon because we received a discount rate of $20.00 on our room and now have to pay $12.00 each for our continental breakfast. So, because we earned $20.00 rewards for being loyal customers, lose our breakfast ? WHERE'S THE REWARD IN RECEIVING REWARD POINTS IF THEY TAKE AWAY SERVICES FROM YOUR STAY! and what didn't they tell us when checking in they would take away our breakfast if we used our earned reward points. So we decided not to pay $25.00 for a breakfast that services powdered eggs. One more thing. We had to change our original room because it stunk really bad like an old sweaty man with shaving colone. Honestly, the whole place smells bad. They haven't cleaned the carpets in years. Stinky. Stinky Stinky place. Our new room smell that much better. The rewards program has always been something I ignored. But after I finally got something for free, then penalized for it is a big slap in the face. Please don't offer me any more rewards after reading this. I don't need your powdered eggs and smelly rooms.
Mar 22, 2025 · MichaelThe front desk seems understaffed, but otherwise the service was superb, including the breakfast crew. Also, in terms of quality and convenience, adding the breakfast buffet is worth the price paid, I think. Nice selection of stuff, and it’s all fresh. The jacuzzi could be about 2-3F hotter, I think, but it’s clean.
May 05, 2025 · Jason SpitzerHotel is beautiful! Room was not the greatest, but Erin made our morning. After dealing with the cold night and no heat and a tub that didn't drain, we were very displeased, but Erin at checkout gave us a complete refund. My husband and I were very grateful and would stay again.
