Our original room was double booked. We were able to get the room we wanted on the second night. Roxanne went over and above! She adjusted the room rate for both nights and gave us tickets to Harbor Fest! We had a wonderful trip! Lillie at the front desk was also very helpful and kind! This hotel is the perfect location for walking to shopping and restaurants! Would recommend.

Jun 18, 2025 · Cathy WilliamsLove this place. Whenever I fly into MKE, I spend my first night here. The rooms are HUGE for the price. The walls are super thick cement, and dead silent. It has a funky Caribbean bar out on the marina side. It has a swanky seafood joint with a great bar attached. And, it's right on a beautiful marina with an East view over Lake Michigan. Easy walk to downtown.
May 26, 2025 · Greg CurtisWhile our stay at this hotel was generally fine, there were a few disappointments that prevented it from being a standout experience. As Diamond members with Hilton, we were expecting some of the usual perks, such as a room with a view. Unfortunately, due to the hotel's busy nature, we didn't get a harbor view room, but we understand that the availability is limited. The rooms themselves were spacious, though it would have been nice to have more options with a view. Breakfast, while functional, was very basic and lacked inspiration – not quite what we expected. One of the major letdowns, however, was the internet. It was extremely slow, not really working and when we brought it up with the front desk, we were told the hotel was just too busy. This was not acceptable, especially for a hotel of this caliber. We also missed the little touches that make a stay feel special, like the cookies upon arrival, which have always been a hallmark of DoubleTree by Hilton properties. Overall, the experience fell short of expectations, which is why I am giving it three stars.
Jul 18, 2025 · Judit EllingstadStayed here for a night recently and was unimpressed by the rooms. The staff I interacted with were amazing. Super friendly and willing to help. My main issue was the corners cut in the room quality. Simple things like slow close cabinets so you don’t slam it accidentally. Loud drawers and closets. Even some outside doors between the hotel and attached restaurant weren’t slow close and very easy to allow it to slam on its own. Overall, I’d stay here again. Rooms were clean and again the staff was great. I was just disappointed in how hard it was to be a quiet guest in my room.
Mar 15, 2025 · Dan UlaszekIt was definitely not worth the money. The room was small. Literally just a king bed and 2 side tables. No extra seating. The bathroom is so small you hit your knees on the door. There is no fan in the bathroom. You have to hold the handle down in order for the toilet to actually flush. There was dirt in all the corners. The lampshades were frayed. Kids swam but there were NO towels at the pool or the front desk. (I asked) My bedding had someone else's blood on it. Not sure if my room was even cleaned. Was told the manager would get in touch with me, never heard a thing. Definitely don't recommend.
