My husband and I have stayed here in various rooms at least 3 times prior. The location is ideal as there are restaurants, bagel place, a bakery among other business within walking distance. The parking lot is a bit messy, I would suggest paving the entrance/exit and also clearly marking the parking spots. On our recent stay (Friday April 4, 2025) we were in room 220 which is a lovely upstairs corner unit. Overall the unit itself has a nice layout but the bathroom is snug and the kitchen doesn’t have much cooking space, the prior room we had had a lovely island (might have been the room below us). The layout is great and the brightness of the room was lovely. Since this was a quiet trip to enjoy each other’s company, we were a bit frustrated at the tv which was just cable kept glitching! It happened in living room and the bedroom, which was aggravating, it’s the only time we watch tv. The bed was HARD as a rock, we definitely struggled to enjoy it but fortunately we were exhausted and slept. The curtains were only halfway blackouts so we also felt it could be completely revamped as we were looking forward to sleeping in a bit. The room overall is great, the location and the building itself is well kept and staff was great. There is also a nice gym and the grounds are always manicured. Overall we will explore other areas as we really need a better bed and tv services that work, we truly enjoy being able to relax and it could have been a bit better. Needless to say that our backs hurt today 😵
For local users exploring "Hotels Near Of Me" in the East Hampton area, the East Hampton House Resort presents itself as a notable option, particularly for those seeking accommodations with extended-stay amenities. Located at 226 Pantigo Rd, East Hampton, NY 11937, USA, this resort aims to offer a comfortable and convenient stay within the prestigious Hamptons. The hotel can be reached directly at (631) 324-4300 or +1 631-324-4300 for inquiries and reservations.
The environment of the East Hampton House Resort is one of its most attractive features, particularly for guests who value accessibility to local amenities. Situated on Pantigo Road, the resort boasts an "ideal" location with "restaurants, bagel place, a bakery among other business within walking distance." This walkability is a significant advantage in East Hampton, where transportation can often be a consideration. The surrounding area offers the quintessential Hamptons charm, with close proximity to the village's shops, art galleries, and cultural attractions, as well as the renowned East Hampton beaches. The resort grounds themselves are described as "always manicured," indicating a commitment to maintaining an appealing and pleasant outdoor environment for guests. This suggests a well-kept exterior that contributes positively to the guest experience. However, one specific environmental detail noted by a reviewer is that the "parking lot is a bit messy," with suggestions for "paving the entrance/exit and also clearly marking the parking spots." While this points to a minor area for improvement, the overall sentiment regarding the location and exterior upkeep of the building and grounds is positive. For local users seeking "Hotels Near Of Me" with excellent walkability and a well-maintained exterior, the East Hampton House Resort's environment is a strong selling point.
In terms of services, East Hampton House Resort offers amenities that cater to both short-term visitors and those planning an extended stay. A key service highlighted is the provision of "mini kitchens" within the units, complete with "dishes, utensils dishwasher, mini fridge." This feature is particularly valuable for guests who prefer to prepare some of their own meals, offering flexibility and potentially cost savings during their stay in the Hamptons. While one review noted that the kitchen might not have "much cooking space" in all units, with some prior rooms having "a lovely island," the presence of these facilities generally enhances the convenience for guests. The resort also provides a "nice gym" for guests looking to maintain their fitness routines, and "a beautiful back yard with a pool and a tennis court," offering recreational opportunities directly on the property. The "staff was great," indicating a good level of customer service and attentiveness. Housekeeping services would also be standard for a resort of this type, ensuring a clean living space, though guests may find varying levels of thoroughness as indicated by reviews mentioning potential improvements in room condition (though overall "well kept"). The combination of in-room kitchen facilities, recreational amenities, and generally positive staff interaction points to a service model focused on guest comfort and convenience.
The features of the accommodations at East Hampton House Resort are designed for comfort, though some aspects may vary between units and could benefit from updates. Guest units, such as "room 220," are described as having a "nice layout" and being "lovely upstairs corner unit" with good "brightness." This suggests thoughtful design in terms of space utilization and natural light. However, specific functional features drew mixed feedback. The bathroom was noted as being "snug," indicating potentially limited space. A recurring issue raised was with the in-room entertainment: "the tv which was just cable kept glitching! It happened in living room and the bedroom, which was aggravating." This is a significant drawback for guests who value reliable television services for relaxation. Another critical feature for comfort, the bed, was described as "HARD as a rock," leading to discomfort and back pain for guests. Furthermore, the "curtains were only halfway blackouts," suggesting that light control for sleeping in could be improved. While these points indicate areas for potential enhancement, the overall structure and layout of the rooms are generally considered positive. The presence of a full kitchen, including a dishwasher and mini-fridge, is a strong feature for units, allowing for self-catering. The resort also offers an outdoor pool and tennis court, adding to the recreational features available on-site. The property is described as "well kept," suggesting that despite individual room issues, the building and grounds are maintained to a good standard.
Promotional information for East Hampton House Resort would likely emphasize its "affordable" pricing within the generally expensive East Hampton market, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers seeking "Hotels Near Of Me" without compromising on location. The inclusion of "all the amenities of a mini kitchen including dishes, utensils dishwasher, mini fridge" is a significant promotional highlight, appealing to those who desire self-catering options. The "beautiful back yard with a pool and a tennis court" are also key selling points, showcasing recreational facilities that enhance the vacation experience. The "ideal location" with "everything else is within 5 to 10 minutes" walking or driving distance would also be a major focus in marketing efforts, highlighting convenience and accessibility to East Hampton's attractions. While the reviews point to areas for improvement in specific room features like beds and TV service, the resort's overall value proposition seems to be its combination of prime location, kitchenettes, and on-site recreational facilities at a comparatively more accessible price point for the Hamptons. Potential guests should be aware of the specific feedback regarding beds and TV functionality, but the positive aspects of location, staff, and overall grounds maintenance remain strong promotional elements for this resort.

Jan 04, 2025 · Jessica RoldanStayed here with my partner for a September weekend and it was so great! The location is ideal, as you can walk right across the street to Carissa’s for coffee and Bostwick’s for a lobster roll. Newly renovated room with a great bathroom and comfy bed. Would absolutely return!
Sep 28, 2024 · Casey HekkerI couldn’t be happier with our stay this past summer here! From the moment we walked in the staff was friendly & helpful. Our room was extremely clean (& I am personally neurotic… it checked every cleanliness box I have AND had all the essentials a gal could want). Also, we could have spent our entire stay in their beautiful, warm heated pool! I am going to make this spot our forever destination stay for all future vacations in this area of Long Island. Book now- you will not be disappointed!
