Had a late check in and everything was smooth, got into the room and it had a strong strange odor like mustard, we turn the fan on the ac and the bathroom and that eventually went away. The room was clean (hallways were not). On the 2nd day we got back late (around 10pm) and our ac wasn't working, we called the front desk, he came and looked at it, couldn't fix it, offered us another room but it was so late, we would have had to repack all of our belongings and fridge and my boyfriend was already asleep so that wasn't an option, they gave us a fan and told me they would look into removing some of the cost of the room, it was hot but we managed. The next morning at check out I asked again and he said he would look into it. As of a week ago nothing has been given back and they have not tried to call or correct this problem. Would not stay here again.

I let them know that it would be anytime between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m. or, because we had an event already scheduled, if we didn't get there in time before the event we would have to check in after (which would be after midnight). They were perfectly fine with that! Super nice front desk staff! Then after reading some reviews that mentioned problems with air conditioning or air conditioning not being turned on until they got to the room (so the room started at 90 plus degrees and therefore it took a couple of hours to get cooled off), I elected to call the hotel again and ask if they wouldn't mind turning on the air conditioning before I checked in at check-in time (so 3:00 p.m.) to ensure that it would be cool by the time we got there. I suffer from heat stroke and get out very easily and I would pass out in very hot conditions for any periods of time. Plus, we are in a heat wave starting today with real-feel temps well over 100°. Again they were very accommodating and super nice! They agreed immediately - no problem, they would turn the air conditioning on for me so that the room would be nice and cool by the time we got there. Super friendly staff, seriously! I have not actually checked in yet so this will be updated at that time, but for now I have rave reviews about the friendliness and kindness of the employees. I would like to point out that I spoke to two different people and they were both equally accommodating, so the negative reviews about them being rude I suspect may potentially be related to racism. Because I have experience nothing but other sheer kindness. Thank you Econo Lodge owners/staff/employees for your hospitality so far ☺️

While making the reservation, I explained my guest would be checking in late. I gave my debit card information and email the requested documents for my guest to Have a smooth check in. At 3 AM the receptionist contacted me requesting authorization again because the hotel canceled the reservation due to my guest checking in late night. I could have handled the check-in being a disaster if I had checked my bank account today to see six different transactions from this hotel. I collectively have $360 pending when the room was only supposed to be $104. I called the hotel this afternoon and there’s no management on hand that can explain the charges! terrible experience all the way around. Management when you see this review, please return my call and explain these charges!!!
