Eve VRBO 700 First Ave N. stay was a terrible experience. Hallway to the outside entrance was dark with lights burnt out. People above us stomped all night while talking loud and sometimes yelling. Walls and ceiling are very thin and we felt shaking with the upstairs people running around above us. Train ran right outside all night and was very loud. Rooms were not clean. Black scuff marks on most of the walls and the bathroom ceiling fan filters were full of brown dust very visible. One bathroom wall was unclean. Silverware was chipping off black coating. Dining table was wobbly and had a spoon propping it to stay level. Outside area is dark and tucked away down by the river and train tracks not close to Broadway street at all. Very unsafe to walk outside day or night. Do not recommend this VRBO.
Are you planning a visit to Nashville, Tennessee, and looking for a unique place to stay that offers a different experience than your typical hotel? While the vibrant energy of Music City is undeniable, finding the right accommodation can truly make or break your trip. Today, we're going to dive into "Eve on the River 305," a property that often comes up in conversations about Nashville lodging. Let's explore what this place offers to locals and visitors alike, helping you decide if it’s the right fit for your next Tennessee adventure.
Nashville is a city that pulses with rhythm, history, and Southern charm. From the iconic honky-tonks on Broadway to the serene beauty of the Cumberland River, there’s always something new to discover. For many, finding accommodation that reflects the city's unique character while offering comfort and convenience is key. Eve on the River 305 presents itself as an option within this dynamic landscape. We'll provide a clear and factual overview, allowing you to get a comprehensive understanding from a local's perspective.
Eve on the River 305 is located at 700 1st Ave N #305, Nashville, TN 37201, USA. This address places it in the River North area, a developing part of Nashville that sits along the Cumberland River. When considering accessibility, it's important to understand its proximity to downtown attractions. While not directly on Broadway, the property is situated in an area that offers a different perspective of the city. Depending on your preferred mode of transportation, reaching popular destinations might involve a walk, a short ride-share, or public transit.
For those who enjoy a stroll, the walk to downtown's main attractions, such as Broadway Street, can be undertaken. However, it's worth noting that customer feedback indicates it's "not really that close to downtown either. You could walk it but not super reasonable walk especially if raining." This suggests that while walkable for some, it might not be the most convenient option for everyone, especially if weather conditions are unfavorable or if you prefer to be right in the heart of the bustling tourist areas. The location near the river and train tracks is a significant aspect of its environment, which we will delve into further in the features section.
While Eve on the River 305 is presented as a "hotel" in the prompt, it's important to clarify that based on public reviews, it operates more like a vacation rental or VRBO unit rather than a traditional hotel with a front desk and extensive on-site services. Therefore, the "services offered" will reflect what might be expected from such a rental property rather than a full-service hotel.
Services Offered:
It's crucial to understand that expectations for services at a rental unit differ significantly from those at a standard hotel. There may not be daily housekeeping, room service, or a concierge. Guests are typically responsible for their own daily needs and may interact more directly with the property owner or manager for any issues that arise.
Features and Highlights:
It is important to address some of the significant concerns raised by previous guests, which are also considered "features" in the sense that they are inherent characteristics of the property:
As a vacation rental property, Eve on the River 305 does not typically advertise ongoing promotions or special offers in the same way a large hotel chain might. Promotions would likely be seasonal or at the discretion of the property owner/manager and would be advertised on the specific booking platform where the property is listed (e.g., VRBO, Airbnb). To find out about any current deals, it would be necessary to check the listing directly on the relevant booking website for the dates you are interested in. It is always recommended to compare prices and read the most recent reviews before booking any short-term rental to ensure it meets your expectations and budget.
For inquiries or bookings, you can use the following contact information. Remember that for vacation rentals, communication often occurs through the booking platform's messaging system, but direct contact details are sometimes provided for specific needs.
Address: 700 1st Ave N #305, Nashville, TN 37201, USA
Phone: (503) 345-9399
Mobile Phone: +1 503-345-9399
It's important to note that the phone numbers provided have a (503) area code, which is associated with Oregon, not Tennessee. This might indicate that the property management is based outside of Tennessee, which is common for vacation rentals. When contacting, be mindful of potential time zone differences.
So, why might Eve on the River 305 be suitable for locals in Tennessee, or even visitors looking for a particular kind of experience? For locals planning a "staycation" or visiting Nashville from another part of Tennessee, this type of accommodation offers a different perspective than a standard hotel. If you're looking for a private unit with kitchen facilities where you can settle in, rather than a full-service hotel experience, it might be an option to consider. It could appeal to those who prefer a more independent travel style or who are familiar with navigating urban environments and are less concerned about being directly amidst the main tourist crowds.
However, it's crucial for any potential guest, especially locals who appreciate value and comfort, to carefully weigh the significant concerns raised by previous visitors. The consistent feedback regarding noise (from both neighbors and the nearby train), safety concerns about the outdoor area, and specific issues with light control and minor maintenance should be seriously considered. While the idea of a private rental near the river might sound appealing, the real-world experiences of other guests highlight potential downsides that could impact your stay. Ultimately, its suitability depends entirely on your priorities and tolerance for these specific factors. For those who prioritize peace and quiet, direct proximity to downtown attractions, and a sense of security, Eve on the River 305 might not be the most suitable choice based on current public information. Always research thoroughly and read the most recent reviews before making your decision.

Dec 16, 2024 · Marlo Ann GallegosThis place wouldn’t be as bad if it was much cheaper. Not worth the money. Way too many sounds are heard for it to cost this much. There’s a train track that run right by it. While there isn’t a horn it’s still so loud. You hear ALL of your neighbors around you. There’s a security system that is making announcements outside. In one guest room there is a window that she’s into the hallway that happens to have a light. Which would be fine if you put black out curtains in that room too. It’s so bright in the front room bc of a useless window. The place was nice & clean but too many other factors. It favorable. Not really that close to downtown either. You could walk it but not super reasonable walk especially if raining
