Overall a perfectly fine place to stay. Rooms are rough around the edges (missing tile in bathroom, some makeup stains on pillows, a few dead flies near the windows, etc) but the hotel was comfortable and safe, no real loud noises. And for $50 a night I didn't expect pristine. The only real detrimental things were the fridge didn't seem to work- it was plugged in and running but nothing was cold. Both ice machines on our floor were out of order. The hair dryer didn't work and there was no coffee machine in the room (didn't matter to me but worth mentioning if those are deal breakers for you). But to be clear we had eaten through our perishables already and didn't tell management about the fridge (so they might've had a fix or something but we didn't ask). Like I said a little rough around the edges but exactly what I expected for $50 a night, I'd stay again!

Feb 03, 2025 · Tristen NovicThe shower leaked, the tub didn't have a rubber bath mat, had a hairdryer was cracked and broken, no stopper for the bath tub. The light is a sensor and kept coming on all the time so we put tape over it , the microwave was dirty, the pool is nothing like the picture same for the room. Pool had flies and green and was open 12 - 8. Guests are noisy. No room service. Wifi and tv sucked. Wifi is to phone number to the hotel. No soap. Beds are hard and 3 pillows. The fridge works in the TV cabinet. We was in room 120 Friday night to Sunday 11a checkout. Check in is at 3pm. Only thing was hot steaming water for a shower. We used a rag stuck in the drain for the tub to bath our 5 year old granddaughter. It's 40 minutes away from where we were going to Hershey Amusement Park. Not going to stay there next year my son had his company picnic there.
Jul 01, 2024 · Melvin RodgersBy far THE BEST hotel in PA and MD. Stayed in 3 different in PA and 2 others in MD. This place was AWESOME!! I really wasnt expecting much for the price or location. Single king. Room and hall clean. Linens clean. Bed was Goldilocks Approved. No evidence of bedbugs or any other creepy crawly things. Ice machine worked and didnt have a taste. Pool was beautiful, cold but very nice. Shower stayed hot and was clean. The air worked. Fridge and microwave clean. It was a perfection-al painters and contractor's nightmare tho lol. The cut ins were something else in my room lol. Its all good tho, youre here to sleep not paint the room lol. Real nice people there. No homeless roaming around that we saw. Over all I gave a 4... Everybody needs room for improvement.
Sep 02, 2024 · Nicole ThompsonNot a bad spot like some of the other places around the city with the homeless or the vagrants running around looking shady. Especially if you got kids or your wife with you. You hate to feel uncomfortable. This place is by the highway with easy access on and off. Has a rest stop style gas station at the end of the road for any quick necessaries you might need, if not it's not far to get to Capitol City Mall shopping area. The hotel itself is run by a nice Indian man, always very friendly and helpful, allows me to check in early if I want for a $25 early fee. Check out is still 11am like everywhere else. Free breakfast in the mornings. The rooms are sanitary and clean. The building is just old. It's always quiet and comfortable. I've had no issues the three times I've stayed there. The AC works, shower, blow-dryer, ice machine, microwave, large mini fridge, TV with about 50 channels. Plenty of parking. And a nice quiet outdoor pool area with tables and chairs. Just if you got kids there's no life guard so watch your kids. The rooms are always clean, toilets flush like you could flush your sheets down them if you want. Bathroom nice and clean also.
Jun 25, 2024 · Jesse ScharffAfter checkout, Express Inn attempted to charge both my and my partner’s cards $200+. Their reasoning? That was the fee having a dog in our room during our stay. We did not have a dog, or any other pet, in our room, or anywhere here. There was absolutely no reason to suspect we might have. We didn’t pet someone else’s dog in the parking lot, or do anything with any animals at all. Total scumbag, scam behavior by the staff here! Thank god we keep our cards locked. EDIT: after the response to the review, I want to correct this and say that it was a $180 attempted charge, not $200+, and this certainly did happen.
