I stayed at the Fishkill, NY, Westage Center location from April 3-4, 2025. I checked in late (11:30 pm), so I really appreciated it when Nadia (Front Desk Agent) kindly offered a late checkout and said that she would be leaving a note communicating her kind offer to the morning shift. At about 10am, I received a phone call from Robbin Smith (General Manager). She said that I wouldn’t be allowed to stay past 12 noon, and that if I wasn’t out at noon, I would be charged extra. I thanked her and asked her to have a nice day. At noon, she (Robbin Smith) repeatedly knocked on my door, and tried to force her way into my room-thankfully, I had latched the secondary swing lock mechanism-this stopped her from entering!!! She then left my door and called me several times on the phone. I called her back informing her that I would be leaving asap, but I was detained due to the lack of hot water in the shower. She (Robbin Smith) again came to my door knocking vigorously. While she knocked, another Front Desk Agent called me on the phone, informing me that the General Manager was knocking on the door and is asking that you leave, now!! I have never been treated with such harassment and disrespect!! I should have called the police!!!

I love my stay at the hotel. The staff is wonderful. Ms. Robin, Zina, Ms. Lily, Ms. Sonny, Ms. Marion and the maintenance guy are all Phenomenal. They are friendly, courteous, and respectful. They make the stay homely. The hotel is never dirty someone is always cleaning. They make sure your stay is welcoming. The small kitchen is a plus.

Good location butt that's it.no breakfast. Mold all over bathroom ceiling. No shampoo/conditioner provided. Cigarette burn holes on curtains. Unholy odor in elevator. Worn and gross walls. absolutely no outlets on bed/nightstand side of room. Too many other hotels in the area to choose this one. $150 per night is fartoo much to pay for this room.

I been here for a month because im working remodeling walmart. Room id alright and i like the kitchen in the room, but im tired of the smelt on the second floor. It smells disgusting, it smell like armpit and curry. The smell is so strong that it goes into my room. I have to sleep with the windows open because of the smell.

The staff is always on site for any needs and most of all wants very friendly management they make you feel like you’re at home … I must say it’s been a positive experience 100% they are more than The average staff they become more like family. The rooms are absolutely clean and there’s never any noise on the floor night or day never once was I awoken from loud noise or parties or any such thing I absolutely would suggest if you’re looking for a place to stay this would be the place whether it’s a vacation or you need time to find a new place or you just want a little getaway I would say you would be perfectly satisfied in all ways staying at 55 W. Merritt.. i’ve really became very friendly with the staff as well as the maintenance. They are all a really good team and it’s been a very satisfying experience. I recommend this hotel 100% cleanliness great maintenance great staff great pet friendly. You really can’t ask for much more. I give them a 10 out of 10 give it a try I think you would definitely enjoy it
