Loved every second of our stay here. Shoutout to Scott for being an absolute legend while we were there, so above and beyond customer service for one and an absolute gem of a person. For real he was absolutely amazing. The rooms were so clean and spaced out so well. Was so comfy in my room. Also checked out the pool and hot tub while I was there, very spacious and was quite fun. They also have laundry services there too, you have to pay for the machine but the detergent was complimentary which was nice, also just excited they offered it at all. We also took advantage of the ice machines too. The housekeepers were also super friendly and informative, everyone working here was great. Breakfast was also included and it was soooo good. Breakfast bar type but they have so many options, eggs and a protein every day, oatmeal, cereals, juice, also had bagels and toast, just so many options. And even when they had a huge rush never once had an issue finding a seat. Lots of seating so no matter how many people are down there, there’s always somewhere for you to go. Also the outside of this hotel is very cool too, fun vibe to the entrance. I know if I ever go back to Maine I will absolutely be staying here again. Could not have been more happy with our stay !

May 23, 2025 · Natalie Cantlewhen we first arrived there, the manager and the young lady checking a standard just so amazingly friendly and professional. I was absolutely pleased with how they checked us in, had small talk with us and actually just were overall just a real joy to be around. I did notice that there were a lot of children there, and come to find out there was a kids pool party going on which was fine. I mean we didn't know when we did our reservation this would happen. we were actually placed on the first floor room 118 and if we had known we could switch rums before we got unpacked we definitely would have. apparently the department of defense from another country were there, and mind you this was 8:30 9:00 at night when we checked in. they were out in the lobby drinking beer and getting hammered. around 10:30 11:00 we're trying to settle in because we were exhausted and the gentleman were out in the lobby getting hammered laughing so loud walking back and forth being just obnoxiously loud because they were right next to our room. The young lady at the front desk, we did speak with her and said that she would do what she could to tell him to be quiet, she even came to her room and apologized up and down. but they were still extremely loud. I did tell her that if they weren't quiet I at least 11:30 I would call the police because this is unacceptable. she did offer to move us to another room but we had already changed into our pajamas we had already been unpacked and we didn't think we should have to be the ones to move when they shouldn't even be drinking in the lobby and causing such a scene. around 11:00 we went outside so I can have a cigarette before I went to bed, and I came back in, I was a little disappointed when she put us out on front Street, saying very loudly with the gentleman sitting right there, "it's finally nice and quiet. I told them to be quiet so you guys wouldn't be upset." I felt really embarrassed like she was throwing us under the bus so they wouldn't treat her bad thinking that it was her asking them to be quiet. that was the only real issue I had with the staff. I finally was able to get some sleep around 12:30 1:00 because they finally settled down. when I went to lay down in the bed which by the way was extremely lopsided and the springs on the bed frame were creaking all night, there looks like a few white stains on blanket cover. and my husband found little bits and pieces of dog food all over the floor they were hair ties on the floor The room was just really filthy. The table was really sticky, the shower was a little bit dirty. but overall it didn't matter we were just exhausted. in the morning I did talk to the manager, who was so apologetic and so nice, about the gentleman's behavior. when I did tell her about the run being dirty she seemed a little bit offended because she said she was the one that person cleaned that room which I find that very hard to believe because it was filthy and there were stains on that blanket. but still she was very professional and even gave us a full refund which, I have yet to receive so that full refund is to be determined. honestly overall I don't recommend this hotel to people. but then again it might be quieter on another time. The fact though that the manager went out of her way to fully refund us like I said to be determined cuz I have not yet received the full refund, was excellent. I just really wouldn't recommend this hotel not the way the behavior of some of the guests were. but like I said that was just one night things changed from night to night.
Mar 11, 2025 · s DufourThese folks run a tight ship!! Rosabell is SO kind and accommodating. They ALL were! I also needed some forms faxed and they got it done! I had to come down to use the microwave and Rosabell was packaging breakfast to go baggies for the early birds that leave before 6am! Their breakfast spread for the others ain't nothin to sneeze at either! I loved the fact that they had more than one person working in the evening. Im in hotels more than I am home. I cannot tell you how many times there is only one person manning the property after 3pm suffering from more work than one person can handle! They were even refreshing the water cooler in the lobby loll. It's the little things that really are big things, especially for someone like me who travels for work 80% of the year. And the room was very comfy. That bed held me captive! I hit snooze like 3 times loll. Hats off to you guys. I had an excellent stay.
Mar 22, 2025 · Moe BaltimoreI recently stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Bangor, Maine, and had an excellent experience. The hotel is conveniently located near I-95, making it a great choice for travelers. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, going out of their way to make my stay comfortable. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and modern amenities. I appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which had a good variety of options, including fresh fruit, waffles, and hot items. The hotel also features an indoor pool and fitness center, both of which were clean and well-maintained. While it’s not a luxury hotel, it offers great value for the price and is perfect for a short stay or business trip. I’d recommend the Fairfield Inn in Bangor to anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable stay in the area!
Jan 26, 2025 · Kristine PrayStaff were very prompt, kind and personable. A nice change from much of the local store staff, it made going back to the hotel a significantly more comfortable experience. I didn’t catch her name, but one evening staff member (working Nov 22&23) had two great conversations with us about where we were from, travel and of course, our favourite colours of Stanley/Yeti. The rooms were simple but up-to-date and very clean. We had four adults in one double room, which was snug but not crazy uncomfortable by any means. Everything was very clean, with the exception of a couple obvious stains on the bedding. We did note a large amount of condensation coming into the room via the windows. Pool and deck were obviously clean and staff were constantly refilling towels and cleaning. Rules are absolutely not enforced, with people jumping/playing/diving in the pool, the deepest part being 5’6. People had drinks and food, crowded the hot tub for long lengths of time and blasted music. It would be nice if there was music playing in the pool area to avoid that. Staff were great with giving a 15 minute until close warning. Breakfast was basic but fresh and filling. Need more healthy options, such as more fresh fruit or low sugar drink options
