Apr 12, 2025 · HSSRRooms were decent, not bad bad, did have a funny smell at first in the the room. Also for the two night I was there, there was absolutely no hot water. We did get offered to have our room switched, but the whole hotel had no hot water. After I had gotten back from work and spoken to the gentleman who worked over nights, and explained the hot water situation. He said he had no clue about it, and in not so many words said we kind of just have to deal with it.
Apr 15, 2025 · Damein CabanYou know you’ve made the right choice when you check-in at the front desk and the people working there make you feel like you did. A welcome smile and an attentive nature are what you want after a 6-hour battle through traffic & travel. The rooms are comfortable, clean and rightly priced. Breakfast and coffee areas kept clean and stocked for a busy crowd by another attentive group of people who I greatly appreciated.
Dec 24, 2024 · Charles LamertinaGood place for our one night stay. No issues checking in. When you walked in there was a strong musty smell which could have been the chlorine of the pool. The room we stayed in was dated. Who has been in a hotel room where you push the bottom down on a lamp to turn it on. Also, no places to plug USB or type C. Good thing I had my plugs.
Dec 29, 2024 · D BrownSince our last stay here I was hopeful I could write a great review - not going to happen this time. On day 2 I asked to make sure we could get clean towels, etc. and I was told you don't have to ask, they will service your room. So on day 3 I did not ask - came back that night to trash not being taken out and dirty towels still left on the floor. When we questioned the front desk we were told we must have left the "do not disturb" sign on the door - we did NOT. In fact, when we left for the day housekeeping was servicing the room next to ours. They were able to get us the towels we needed but now I don't know if I need to ask each time or not. Sunday morning breakfast was very subpar. They were out of a lot of things and the hostess was nowhere to be found. Finally, another guest knocked on the door to the little kitchen and she seemed less than pleased to help us (I don't think she understood what we wanted because she just looked at us). The milk was "lumpy". Monday morning breakfast was not much better as far as selection of cereals, and we were there at least an hour before breakfast was to end. But the worse was the last night when the fire alarm went off (nothing serious - just someone burnt food in their microwave in their room). People were in the lobby crying and very upset and a little girl vomited. This was around 11:30 pm. The next morning at approximately 8:00 am the vomit was still there!!! And this was right outside the housekeeping department. The front desk person said it must have just happened - no it happened about eight hours prior. No excuse for that! There just doesn't seem to be much effort put into the upkeep up the motel and definitely cleanliness doesn't seem to be a priority. This location is perfect for when I travel to Mahwah. I was hoping I wouldn't have to find another motel next visit. The front desk was never rude to us with our complaints so perhaps housekeeping needs a good talking to about keeping the customer satisfied.
